"What do I do? What do I do? I'm so scared! Germany, Germany!" Tears were in my eyes, and my heart started beating faster. I guess this is what everyone else meant when they called me useless and weak. I can't do anything!

The man was following me, and he was closing in. He came when I was home alone, Germany had gone to the store to buy some groceries since we had run out of some stuff. A strange looking man then broke into my house, and I tried to run away. I went to the upstairs bedroom where I thought I'd be the safest.

"No, no! I can't die today, not now!" I thought to myself. I had to find some type of weapon. Germany had to have some gun or knife or something. But, I also didn't know if the guy was armed or not. My mind and body felt like it was numb. My heart seemed like it was beating a million times a second.

I then found a handheld gun that belonged to Germany. I wished that I didn't have to use this.

Then, I heard footsteps outside the bedroom door.

"Who are you?! What do you want?! I'll shoot if you don't leave!" I screamed. I hoped I sounded intimidated, but I bet I didn't. I was always told that I sounded unmanly.

"Like hell you'll shoot!" The voice sounded gruff and slurred. He was probably drunk, it was night time after all. People tend to get rowdy at night..

"Italia! I'm coming! Just-stay where you are!" It was Germany's voice. I was so relieved and happy. Yet.. I felt empty.

"What are you gonna do?-" The man's question (more like a threat) was cut off when Germany started yelling at him. I opened the door to see what was happening. Germany was yelling at the man, and was hand cuffing him. "What are you going to do?" My voice cracked, and I hated that.

"I'll bring him to the police. He's going to be in a lot of trouble. He broke into our house and then is going to threaten your life?" Germany was really angry at this point.

"Um.. Thank you Germany. I don't think I'd be alive right now if you haven't saved me." Germany smiled at me. "Don't worry about it. But, let me take this loony to the police station. Come with me, I'm not going to leave you alone again." I happily went with Germany, but then I got sad. I realized that I'll never be the strong country like Germany, who everyone relies on.
