I do NOT own Kingdom Hearts, Square Enix does. Things will start to get better, just roll with this boring little chapter for now. .
Based on the random little onversations and happenings that went on during camp this past Summer.
Camp Keyblade
Chapter 1
Late Greetings
"Even in a time of darkness, laughter is the greatest medicine for an ailing heart."
"Oh my God! There are STILL more campers arriving? They should have come on time like the rest of us did…."
Two girls sat at the edge of a large balcony, overlooking the massive summer camp and its new arrivals. Of the two, each looked similar to the other one. Brown eyes, black hair, tanned skin, slender waist, long legs; the figure every girl dreamed to have. The two ladies gazed down from the platform, swinging their legs with the breeze as the tiny children played below.
"Hey, Delaine, do you think that any of our other friends are going to show? I mean, if it's just us here, won't we get bored and try to leave…again?"
Delaine looked to her friend, her best friend, and smiled kindly, "C'mon, Jennifer. If we try to leave again, we're just going to get caught…again."
Delaine and Jennifer. They seemed like the same person, and were often confused with the other; getting called the other's name, getting gifts from someone for the other, stuff like that. They even thought alike- to a certain extent. This year at camp, they intended to tell everyone there that they were twins, fraternal twins. After all, if they could pull it off, why not?
"Jennifer! Delaine! You guys are here too?"
Turning around, the young ladies saw a solid dash of yellow and were suddenly hugged by a rather tall blonde their age.
"B-bekah? You're here too?" Delaine smiled, just a little shaken up from the hug, and maybe a little scared of nearly falling to the cement, 30 feet below.
"I can't believe you guys are here! I was afraid that I would be here alone!" Rebekah, or Bekah, hugged them tighter and tighter until she could no longer feel her arms.
"BEKAH. I CAN'T BREATHE. MEXICAN'S SHOUD NOT BE HUGGED FOR THIS LONG." Jennifer mocked, trying to escape the death-grip she was under.
Laughing, the taller girl set the two smaller ones down safely onto the wooden deck that made up the balcony. The difference between Delaine and Jennifer compared to Rebekah were more than obvious; blond hair vs. black hair, blue eyes vs. brown eyes, pale skin vs. tanned skin, tall person vs….well, midgets. You get the picture?
This was the last time the trio would hang out together before school would start up again, so they had to make the most of it, as all of them thought. They would catch up on their summers and spread some gossip, as normal teenagers do.
All teenagers kept secrets, all teenagers spread rumors, and all of them had at least one best friend. It was the nature of things, it kept the order of everything so life was easier.
However….secrets can be let out, feeling can get hurt, and bonds can be made stronger.
