A/N: Just part of a story, I wrote in one go. Thanks for reading, and I'll upload the next part in a few days or so. This is probably only going to be two-part, but I might write more. Reviews would be helpful, I really would like to improve, so all comments are welcome. Thanks! :)
On an average Saturday afternoon, I was hanging out with my friends watching a movie. We were eating popcorn and laughing at the movie's horrible attempts at comedy. It was getting late. Before we had even realized it, it was 2 am. I had to go to church the next day with my family, so I was angry with my friend Alex. Beforehand I had told him that I needed to go to church the next day. He promised to tell me when it was about midnight to go home. But he forgot and although he apologized several times, I was still upset. Now how was I going to get up on time? I might even have to skip church. Going to church is very important to me and my family, so obviously I couldn't let it go. I gathered all my things as quickly as possible, and rushed out the door. I sped home, and jumped into bed, not even bothering to shower. By now it was about 3 or 4. But I couldn't fall asleep. It was like I was being watched. I tried to calm myself down, but I just panicked even more. This was so irrational. I was scared to even open my eyes. I forced myself to open them, telling myself it was stupid to think such a thing. When I opened my eyes, I felt a surge of relief. There was nothing. I could have sworn that there would have been something there. But there wasn't and that was what mattered. I have to go to church in the morning so I need to get some sleep. Church started at 11:30 and if I fell asleep now, I could at least get a few hours of rest. I fell asleep, the weird feeling of something or someone watching me was gone. A few hours later, I bolted upright.
Confused I looked around. I must have had a bad dream because I was sweating and the sheets were tangled up. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn't even remember being scared. Maybe I woke up because of a abnormal sound like a train passing by, or someone getting into their car. I was a really light sleeper. I was extremely annoyed. Tomorrow was not going to be a good day, judging by how much sleep I had. I couldn't fall asleep again, so I got up to make a large cup of coffee. I was definitely going to need it. Starting up the coffee pot, I checked my phone for new messages. There was none. I felt a little weird-ed out, usually after a fight Alex would at least text me. He was probably either asleep or holding a grudge. But he never held grudges so he had to be asleep. Sitting on the couch, I scrolled through my twitter.
I went to church with my family. After almost falling asleep several times, it was over with. I hugged my mom, and caught up with the rest of my family. I went out to fun a few errands, and while I was waiting for my order at McDonald's, I checked my phone again. Alex still hadn't called, texted or messaged me in any way. I wasn't mad anymore, and I still wanted to hang out with him and the others next Saturday. The food was taking forever, so I called him and noone picked up. I called again, no answer. I sent a text, and brushed it off. When I was done with the errands, I headed home. I got in some pajamas, and started watching Netflix.
