Prologue:
"This is a story about a girl with power unmatched by anyone of her race. This is the story...on how i became a legend."
July, x649
On the planet Sadara, a red hair Saiyan woman is giving birth to her next child. A white hair boy is seen running to the room his mother is, and sees his father standing outside of the room he was going to.
"Father, is Mom..."
The boy stopped talking and looked at his father, who nods with a smile on his face.
"You made it just in time, my son. Come, let's go see your baby sibling." He said to his son.
The two Saiyans enters the room and sees the female holding a little person in her arms. She looks up and sees her husband and son walking up to her, smiling at them.
"You made it." She said.
"Yes, Mom. I just finish my mission and got here as fast as i can." He told his mother.
"Well, i am grateful. Do you want to see your little sister?" She asked her son.
The boy look at his father, who nods at him to go to see the new child. He walks slowly up to his mother and looks at his baby sister.
"Say hello to your baby sister." The mother said.
He looks at the baby sleeping in her mother's arms, then wakes up and look up at her older brother. Her skin is tan like her mother. She had long red hair just like her mother. Her eyes are silver, which is rare to their race. Just like the rest of the Saiyans, she too got a tail. Although, her tail was lighter than most Saiyans.
'Her eyes. They're silver. I never seen eyes like that.' He said in his thoughts.
"You can hold her, if you want." The mother said. The boy hesitated about doing so. "Don't worry, she won't bite."
The boy picked up his sister, who stared at him for whole minute. He couldn't do nothing but look in awe at his little sister.
'She's so... beautiful.' He said in his thoughts. "So, uh, what's her name gonna be?"
"Hmm, that's a good question. What can we call her?" The father asked.
"How about Katarot? Or, Kat for short?" The mother asked.
"Katarot, huh? Sounds good. What do you think, son?"
The boy look back at his sister, who laughing in agreement, as she too likes the name.
"I like it. And i think she does too." He said with a smile.
"Alright, then. Katarot or Kat it is!"
The boy then talk to and play with his baby sister, while their parents smirking softly at them. Just then, a Saiyan messenger approach the father.
"Commander Soul, the king want to have a word with you."
"Right." He was about to head out, until he heard his son calling him.
"Father?" He looked back at his family, as his wife and son look at him concerned about what's the situation is.
"I'll be back. I just going to go see the king. I will be fine." He and the messenger left to the throne room.
On the way there, they see a frost demon with dark skin and blue sections on his head, shoulders, forearms, abdomen and shins, walking out of the throne room with two bodyguards and a younger frost demon.
"Ahh! Commander Soul. Nice to see you again."
"Why are you here, Zezok?" Soul questioned.
"Just thought I'll come see my old friend, the king. Also, you forgot to say Lord Zezok."
"Tch. You're not my Lord. The only person i will call that is my king. No one else, and you know that."
"You're no fun. But, what to expect from the king's royal dog. By the way, how's that son doing? I haven't seen him when we got here."
"He's doing something at the moment. He should be back soon." He stated.
"Oooh, that's too bad. I bought my son here so he can "play" with him. You do remember Snow, right?"
The younger frost demon has a white skin and a blue section on his head. He is seen to have horns sticking out both side of his head. Soul couldn't help but snort at the sight of the frost demon.
"Well, i guess we'll be going right now." Zezok walks pass Soul. But then, took a sudden stop behind him and smirked. "Oh, and by the way, i heard that you had another kid."
Soul's eyes widened at his words. He couldn't have known about that... How did he...
"Did you really think that i wasn't going to find out about that? I also know that son of your is here as well. I sensed his energy just before seeing you king."
"If you knew this whole time, then why didn't you send you son after him like you always do?" Soul questioned.
"You see, i was at first. But, after hearing that you had another saiyan child, i decided to let your son to be at peace. For now, at least. Speaking of new additions, i too just got a new child of my own who was born on the same day as your little brat. Who knows, maybe one day we can schedule a playdate for them. Don't you agree?"
Soul's eyes darkened at what Zezok said. "No, i don't."
"Oh?" Zezok questioned. "Why's that?"
"Because, you already terrorized my son with your. I don't want my baby girl to go through the same pain her brother did. That's why i don't want my daughter to have a "playdate" with your youngest. And if i see that child come anywhere near my daughter..." Turns around and gives Zezok the death stare. "...I'll kill it without any hesitation." Soul stated.
"So, it's like that, huh?" Zezok asked, upsetted. "You really are no fun. But, if that's what you want, then I'll just going to have to go find someone else for my little one to play with when his older brother is out on missions. Let's go, men. We got other things to do."
Zezok, Snow, and their bodyguards begins to walk away. Soul stared at them for a few minutes before entering the throne room.
"Father, are you sure you're really gonna find that someone for my little brother?" Snow asked.
"Nonsense, child. Your little brother will play with that saiyan brat. With or without his permission." Zezok chuckles evilly. 'Just you wait, Soul. You will soon understand why you should never talk down to your galactic overlord. Mark my words.' He said in his thoughts.
In the King's throne room, Soul is in a one kneeling position as he talks to the king.
"You wanted to see me, your Majesty?" Soul asked.
"Yes i do. Before i tell you why i summon you here, i want to congratulate you and your family for having a new child." The king said.
"Thank you, your Majesty. Now, what's this thing you want to speak about?" Soul asked.
The king sighs in worry. "Soul, there's something i want you to do for me if something happens to me."
"What is it, my Lord?" Soul asked.
"I would ask my kids to do it instead, if that lizard bastard haven't token them away from me and murder them. But, I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about." The king said.
"I do. But, sir. Do you think I'm ready? Do you think that i can be king?" Soul questioned.
"Of course i do. I seen how much of a leader you are to your men. I am pretty sure you will be a great leader to our race. I know we're not related. But, i also see you as my son. That's why I'm trusting you to lead the Saiyan race to a better future. Can you do me that favor? The king asked.
Soul is trying to hold back his tears. "I will try, my Lord!" He said hoarsely.
The king smirk at him, knowing that now he now got an heir to the throne. "That's all i wanted to hear."
By the nursery, Soul Jr is looking happily at his baby sister, who is now sleeping.
"Hey! Junior!" A voice caught his attention. It turns out to be his friends who was calling him.
"Oh. Hey, guys. What's up?" He asked.
"We was wondering where you ran off to." The short hair Saiyan girl said.
"Yeah, dude. We heard that you got a kid sister now! Congratulations, dude! The The black hair boy said.
"Thanks, guys." He said, with a smile on his face.
The three young Saiyans begins staring at baby Kat.
"So, what's her name?" The girl asked.
"Katarot. Or "Kat" for short." He said.
"Katarot? Really?" She asked, unimpressed. "Who was the one to give her that name?"
"It was my mother who thought of the name." He stated.
"Your family sure love coming up with weird names." The girl said.
"Yeah, i know." He commented.
"Soul? Are you worry that those frost demons will use her as their punching bag... just like you?" The girl asked.
Soul Jr clenched his fist at the thought of them doing that to his sister.
"No. They wouldn't. And I'm going to make sure of that. I will get stronger and i will do everything in my power to keep my sister safe. Even if it kills me." He stated.
"Soul..."
'Mark my words, baby sister. You don't have to worry about any bad guys picking on you. Because i will be there for you. You can count on it.'
"This is a story about a young girl, who will one day become a great warrior. Sleep tight, little Kat. Your adventure has just begun."
Author note: Hello everyone, this is my first non-crossover Dbz story that i been actually planning on doing for a while. Originally, i was planning on making a rehash of the Dbz series with Goku having a twin sister, but i just stick with this one first. Also, just to be clear, there's a few things i want to point out.
1. I'm still new with this writing style so please bear with me if i make a few mistakes.
2: This story takes place before the events of Xenoverse 1 and 2. So, if you are wanting where did i get some of the names from (like Soul and Kat), you know why now. Also, names like Zezok and Snow are made up.
3: This story does not take place in Universe 6 or 7 but in a entire different universe. I haven't thought of what universe to give them at the moment, but if you can think of some, just let me know.
4: In case some of you are wonder, yes, i give Kat Goku's original name, Katarot.
