Hey! Okay, first Fadam FF. Kinda sucky, in my opinion. But this is really for FadamFan on Twitter because she really needed to be cheered up. So, I wanted to write this little thing for her since she LOVES Fadam (who wouldn't?). You should follow her if you're not doing so already. Just saying. Okay, enough rant. Enjoy the story!

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN DEGRASSI. IF I DID, CAKE WOULD BE OVER AND ECLARE WOULD BE BACK TOGETHER. AND THERE WOULD BE FADAM AGAIN. AND DRULIA. AND IMOSE.

Last Chance

The bottle mocked her, teased her. It was begging to be opened, to be lifted to her lips. But she refused the pleas. She didn't want to go down that path again.

But it was tempting.

Soon it turned to lust and before she knew it, her hands were on the bottle. Quickly, she opened it and poured herself a glass. The warm liquid instantly made its way down her throat. All she felt was pleasure. Absolute happiness at the fact she was enjoying herself with her old friend. She didn't need anybody. Especially since champagne had always been there for her and always would be.

An hour later, the door slammed shut. Fiona woke up, a migraine instantly ordering her to stay on the couch.

The clacking of four-inch heels brought her to the reality of what she had done.

"Fiona?" Her mother's voice called out.

Before she could do anything, Laura Coyne stopped dead in her tracks as she examined the room.

"Mom, I can explain…" Her voice sounded hoarse and dry, almost as if a block of wood was lodged in her throat.

Instead of hatred and anger, her mother's features showed worry and sympathy.

"Oh sweetheart…"

She dropped her purse on the linoleum floor and held her daughter tightly. Fiona cried into her mother's shoulder until her stomach begged her to use the restroom.

As she emptied the poison, a face instantly popped up in her mind. The boy had marshmallow skin and tiny freckles that danced across his cheeks. Adam Torres, first transgender boyfriend, sweetest guy on earth, and first love. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. He was history. And besides, the champagne had proved that she didn't need anyone. She flushed the toilet and left the bathroom in a hurry.

Over the next week, Fiona began to loose her feel for everything. Her grades dropped more than before. She was a gray cloud all the time and never smiled. Her ecstatic demeanor about things she used to cherish faded away. Soon, everyone began to leave her. Eli no longer spoke to her. Not even her mother had stayed. She had gone back to New York for business needs. Fiona was truly all alone now.

And things couldn't have been better.

Adam watched the girl carefully. His eyes caught her stylish attire, flawless skin that didn't need makeup, and her perfect posture. He had never stopped loving Fiona, let alone truly moved on.

But then he saw it, the quick glance at him that gave everything away.

Her eyes were sparkling with forming tears and he suddenly understood. She had lost herself in drinking again and hated herself for it. That's when he knew what to do.

Everything after that happened in slow motion. Within a few seconds, he was up and his feet led him right to her. She ran over and hugged him, never relaxing her firm grip. The boy couldn't breathe, but that wasn't a necessity at the time. Cautiously, he led her to the abandoned church.

For the rest of the day, the two sat on the dirt-caked leaves, neither one needing to say a single word to hear the other's relieved thoughts. There was nothing else that needed to be said as the hours dragged on into endless night and the couple was content at last.

Review please? And feel free to tell me it sucked! Love you, sis. Feel better. xo
