"Isn't he beautiful, Rahon?" a female T-Trux asked, looking at a newborn baby.

"Yes. Yes, he is, Tyra," her mate replied as he nuzzled her.

"How should we call him?" Tyra asked.

"Why don't you name him?" Rahon suggested.

"Hmm, how about… D-Metron…" she said, smiling at her son.

"It sounds perfect, my dear," he smiled as he kissed her.

"I love you, Rahon".

"I love you too, Tyra".

They noticed the baby was trying to get up on his treads and roll properly, but since he was just born, that wasn't possible yet and he fell immediately. Rahon chuckled as he carefully lifted him, putting D-Metron back on his treads, but it was in vain since he fell again.

"Haha, easy, little one. Soon enough, you'll become big and strong enough to do it," Tyra smiled as she lifted him, placing the baby on her tread, tiny Trux quietly giggled as he cuddled up to his mommy. When Rahon approached his mate as well, they all went to sleep.

*One year later*

"You can't catch me! Too slow," D-Metron exclaimed as he sped up. Rahon, who was chasing behind him, also sped up, rolling past him so little Trux was between his treads.

"Woah…" D-Metron sighed before Rahon hit the brakes and stopped in front of him.

"Got you!" he exclaimed as he grabbed his son and threw him high in the air and then caught him. This repeated a couple of times.

"Haha, yay, woo-hoo, again, again!" D-Metron cried with joy.

"Can we try that too, mister Rahon?" a female T-Trux D-Metron's age asked, one more girl and a boy T-Trux stood beside her.

"Rayla, Flash, Scyther, what are you doing here?" D-Metron exclaimed excitedly as his father put him down.

"We came to play with the most important pile of parts around here, what else?" Flash, the boy a year older than the rest of them, smuggled kind of mockingly.

D-Metron put on his angel' smile as he turned to Rahon, "Can I go, dad?"

Rahon wasn't sure "Hmm…" "Pleeaase?" D-Metron asked again, although this time, Rayla and Scyther joined him as well, making the same adorable face.

"It's alright with me..." children happily exclaimed and turned to leave as he replied, "... but be careful, and roar if you need anything, kids".

"Yes, sir," "Yes, dad," were the answers he received, Rahon smiled as he went back into the cave.

"Where's D-Metron, dear?" Tyra asked as soon as he came in.

"He went outside to play with friends," he calmly told her.

"WHAT? Again?" she exclaimed.

"But, Tyra, this is hardly the first time he went out, and besides, all of his friends are with him," he explained to his mate.

Tyra sighed, "Did you forget what happened the last time he was out?"

"Yes. But he is bigger now. I am sure he'll be fine," Rahon nuzzled her and after a while, she hesitantly returned a hug.

"So, do any of you babies have an idea where should we go?" Flash asked rudely.

"Try not to get your nose too high up in the air, Flash, you might attract some Scrapadactyls," Rayla answered back, all of them, but young male started laughing at this.

"Woah, you're a bottomless chasm of fun, aren't you, Rayla," Flash rolled his eyes.

"If you say so," she continued messing with him. Flash angrily growled, he started moving his treads, before he charged into the female, flipping her over.

"Ah!" Rayla exclaimed, two other T-Trux quickly went to her.

"Why did you do that?" Scyther asked, looking at the older Trux shocked and angry, but she didn't give him much time to answer because she almost immediately turned to Rayla again. She tried to see if she was injured.

"What is wrong with you, Flash?" D-Metron exclaimed furiously.

"Oh no, have I woken up a little weeper baby's inner demon? What are you going to do, call your daddy to come and get me?" he mocked him.

"Maybe I should!" D-Metron glared at him, "Why are you acting like this?"

"Because a wimp like you doesn't deserve to rule a territory beautiful as this, D-baby!" Flash yelled as he brought his face into his. D-Metron remained quiet, doing his best not to start crying.

"Why would you say something like that, Flash?" Rayla rolled over to them as soon as she got up, pulling D-Metron away from him and close to her when she approached. D-Metron pushed his head into her hydraulics, closing his eyes as a tear came down his face.

"You know what I am talking about, Rayla. You only play nice for the wimp so you can take advantage out of it. We all know that he isn't worthy to be a son of strong, mighty and honorable Rahon. I bet even his parents hate him, but they can't tell him because they wouldn't be able to bear all his whining about it. He'll be the worst ruler this or any other land has ever seen!" Flash stated. D-Metron started sobbing as he grabbed Rayla, holding her even tighter.

"Stop it, Flash! You are hurting him!" Scyther shouted at him.

"Pfft, please. Real, strong T-Trux don't cry," he coldly criticized him.

"He's still young, and I don't think you'd make some ruler either, Flash if you really think picking on smaller and weaker than yourself makes you look strong and fierce," Rayla answered back.

"Keep your little opinion to yourself, Rayla. Either way, I would be better than him, and you know that!" Flash exclaimed before he left.

"D, please, don't cry. Nothing he said is true, we all think so. Your parents care about you. Please stop," Rayla held him close as she spoke.

"B-but... I... sob... what if he... is right?" he asked.

"He's not! Flash is only jealous because he won't get to rule, and he's trying to hurt you. You mustn't let him," Rayla smiled.

"Can I go to my mommy?" D-Metron needy whispered while sobbing.

Rayla felt sorry for him, "Of course-"

"We'll take you home," Scyther finished.

"Uh, miss Tyra? Can you come outside," Rayla called, D-Metron still refused, or rather couldn't, let go of her.

"Of course, dear, what is… Dee?" she froze when she saw her soon squeezed against Rayla.

"What happened?" she whispered as D-Metron rammed into her, now squeezing against her.

"Mommy…" he sobbed.

"Rayla?" Tyra tilted her head, glaring at her suspiciously.

"Flash was mocking him. He… took it too far this time," she explained.

"I don't know why he did that, miss Tyra. He was messing with other Trux before, but never like this. I'm sorry this happened," Scyther joined.

Tyra sighed, hugging her son, "It's alright, Scyther, I forgive you. But I don't want to see your brother near my son, ever again," she said before turning away.

*Tomorrow*

"He did what?" Rahon exclaimed.

"Shhh!" Tyra gestured at their son, who was still asleep.

"Sorry. I think I will have to have a talk with Flash's mother," he hissed as he rolled outside.

Tyra looked after him, no matter how much she knew Cythia deserved that, Rahon's "talks" were nothing nice to endure…

*Cythia's cave*

"Rahon? Uh, what are You doing here?" Cythia asked, backing away a little bit.

"I need to talk with you, Cythia," he growled.

"About something good, I hope," she smiled nervously.

"Flash said certain things to my son. So, I simply wonder from who he could've heard them you know?" he continued rolling towards her so, she had to keep going backwards.

"I-I don't know what You're talking about," she claimed.

"You think your son would make a better ruler than D-Metron?" he glared at her.

"What? No, no. Of course not. I respect and obey You only, my king," she bowed.

"Making up titles now won't help you, Cythia," he growled, "I don't want Flash anywhere near D-Metron".

Her eyes widened on this, "B-but Rahon-"

"That. Is final," he cut in, "Just watch it, Cythia. Don't make the same mistake your mate once made," Rahon told her.

"I… I would never. I will find out why Flash said all that, I assure you. I'll teach him a lesson," she promised.

"Fine," he calmly replied before he left.

When Cythia was sure he was gone, she growled furiously.

"FLAASH!"

"Gulp. Y-yes, mom?" he nervously came to her.

"Ugh! Idiot!" she exclaimed as she slammed him in the wall with her tail.

"Mom, don't!" Scyther dashed in front of her brother.

"Scyther, get out!" she yelled at her.

"No! I won't let you do this to Flash. You're hurting him. That's why he's acting like this. Please, stop," little Trux looked at her.

Cythia thought for a second before she smiled at her daughter, "Alright, Scyther. I won't. But do you think you could let me talk to your brother?" Cythia softly asked her.

"All right… Thank you, mom," she hugged her before she went out. But female's look changed right after she left. She blocked the entrance with a rock and turned on her headlights, making the atmosphere creepier.

"Flash. How many times do I have to tell you to keep everything I tell you to yourself! And will you understand it before Rahon banishes me? Like he banished your father!" she shouted.

"I'm sorry, mom," he whispered.

"Sorry won't get you permission to get near D-Metron again!" she roared, "Is this how I taught you!" she approached him threateningly, "How I trained you!" she moved a bit closer again.

"N-no," Flash closed his eyes, expecting to be hit.

"Then what did I teach you, son?" she moved away from him, looking at Flash over her shoulder.

"P-play it close to the ch-chest. And strike when they l-least expect it," he fixed his eyes onto the ground.

"Exactly. And what did you do?" she was now circling around him.

"I… I hurt D-Metron…"

"And?"

"I… pushed him away".

"And what do you think your father would say on that, Flash? You know that you were the one destined to achieve what your father couldn't! You were supposed to…" she whispered the rest: "… Overthrow D-Metron after Rahon's death. And you won't be able to do it if you don't keep that little crybaby as close to you as possible. Is that clear!?"

"Y-yes, mom," he nodded, still staring in the ground.

"Good. Now find Scyther, play nice and assure her that everything is fine. Thanks to her naivety, you should be able to get back to D-Metron in no time. Rahon might be strong and fierce, but he's gullibleenough to fall for a bit of acting. And I count on him to convince his brainy Tyra in believing the same," she chuckled, "All I want from you is not to mess up again!" she explained, unblocking the entrance.

Flash charged outside immediately, he rolled without stopping until he reached his sister.

*Tyra's and Rahon's cave*

Rahon finally reached his cave, still a bit concerned and angry.

"Dad! Dad! Look, mum, dad's back!" D-Metron exclaimed, rushing to his father. Rahon smiled.

"Dad, let's play!" he insisted.

"Later. Now it's time for lunch," Tyra interrupted them.

"Oww, but mom, I don't want lunch, I want to play with dad!" tiny Trux opposed her.

"Dad also has to eat, sweetie. Come now," Tyra repeated.

"Oh, fine," he replied.

"I'm done, mom, can I go out now, pleease?" D-Metron asked sweetly.

"Hmm…"

"I'll go with him, darling," Rahon kissed his mate as he said.

D-Metron happily charged outside, "Wait up, son," his father stopped him.

"But daad! I want to play!" tiny Trux complained.

"You will, Dee-Mee, but first, let me show you something," Rahon said as he rolled to the edge of a cliff near their cave.

"Don't call me that, dad, it's a name for babies! I am big now!" D-Metron proudly said as raised his head.

"Of course you are," Rahon couldn't help but chuckle, D-Metron snorted on that. His father waited a couple of minutes, knowing his little one will quickly let curiosity take over.

"What did you want to show me, dad?" he said as he rolled to the bigger T-Trux.

"Look, son," he gestured at the ground beneath them.

"Woah…" he gasped in amazement, "But, um, dad, what am I looking at?"

Rahon chuckled, "This, my son, is our land, our territory. And one day, this will be your territory…"

"I know that dad. And our territory is beautiful and big. But don't you ever think that there are other, bigger territories," D-Metron stated.

"They are bigger ones, surely. But why would I care for them when everything that matters is all on this land," Rahon smiled, looking at the horizon.

"But I heard that the most powerful Trux have the biggest territories. That shows to other Trux that they are the strongest. Don't you want to be the strongest Trux, dad?" D-Metron looked up to him.

Rahon chuckled, "Making our land bigger would require expanding this territory. And to do that, we would have to usurp other territories and shrink them. And that would not be fair to other rulers, don't you think?" he asked.

"But if you're stronger, don't you deserve to have more than them?" D-Metron kept questioning.

"No, D-Metron. Stronger or weaker, all the T-Trux have to respect each other, and honor other Dinotrux as equals. We have to help one another in order to make life easier. Have you ever wondered why your friends' families don't have their own territories and live here instead?" Rahon asked him.

"Uh, why?" the young one wondered.

"Long ago, their parents came on my land, in need of help and place to live. I allowed them to live here and since then your friends respect and accept us as their rulers. And as long as it continues that way, we will live together, in harmony. That is how it works with other territories as well. Do you understand now, son?" he turned to him.

"I… think so," he replied, although he wasn't being completely honest.

*Meanwhile, on the very edge of the lands*

"Give me that!" a female voice exclaimed, grabbing a piece of ore from another Dozeratops.

"Hey, that's mine, Halmara!" he said but when she glared at him, he backed away, "It-it can be yours now that I think about it".

"Grr," she snarled, pushing him away.

"Wait!" she heard another voice behind her, "If you ate the ore. That means we're out of food!" on this, others started panicking.

Halmara shook her head before she started yelling, "QUIT IT, scrap-heads! You just have to find more food!"

"Ohhh," one of them nodded and a bunch of them left to find ore.

"Wait!" one Dozeratops rolled after her, "Halmara, you know that there is almost no ore here! When will we finally leave this forsaken heap of sand as you promised us?"

"We'll move when the time is right. Not sooner," she simply replied, not even bothering to looking his way.

"You keep saying that! When is that going to happen?" he shouted.

She pressed the brakes, and slowly turned to him, glaring threateningly, "Well. Look at it this way. If we move next cave to Rahon, these bumbling idiots will spill my plans within seconds, don't you think, Xenx?"

He looked at the Trux nearby them, his horns were stuck in a wall, and he was driving forward, trying to break free.

"I… see your point," Xenx looked down.

"Good. Now please, go and help Nuke," she shook her head before she left, gesturing at the stuck Dozeratops.

Halmara gasped, thinking aloud, "How? How to beat a loved-by-all T-Trux with an army that has a brain of a Bit-bug! But then again. Even Rahon has to have a weakness. And when I find it, I'll use it to crush hi-"

"Who are you talking to?" she jumped when another voice interrupted her.

"Nuke! I told you to stop doing that! My engine almost bailed out because of you!" she yelled at him.

"Sorry," he replied, nuzzling her. Halmara's eyes widened and she backed away, disgusted none the less.

"Don't do that," she spitefully hissed, leaving.

"Ooh. So. You and Nuke?" Xenx teased her, smirking.

"Oh, shut up. He'd mate with a rock if it was sentient. And probably if it wasn't too," she stated, still angry.

"Come on, Hal, you can't stay single forever…" he winked.

"With a lot like you around I don't seem to have another choice," she scoffed, pushing him out of her way so she could leave.

"Did you really think she'd fall for you?" a voice behind him asked.

"Says the guy who was desperate enough to nuzzle her," Xenx glared at Nuke.

"Hey, repelling and cruel as she is, she's still the only female in this herd. I had to try, mate," he replied.

"Well, then you should really work on your techniques," he chuckled, lightly pushing Nuke with his tread.

"Hey! Who are you laughing at!" Nuke exclaimed, hitting him in the face with his tail.

*Rahon's cave*

"Dad, can I go play now?" D-Metron asked, but his father hesitantly looked at his mate.

Tyra sighed, "You can go. But don't be long, and don't wander too far off," she told him.

"Sure, mom," he smiled angelically before charging outside to get Rayla.

"Well, where are we going to, my dear prince?" Rayla jokingly asked him, speaking 'formally'. They both started laughing at this.

"Mom told me not to go far. But it's darker now so, no one would saw us if…" he started talking suggestively which she noticed.

"Hm, what do you have in mind?" she smirked knowingly.

"Dad never wanted to show me the borders," he stated.

"Th-the borders? Why would you want to go there?" she tilted her head in disbelief.

"I just want to see them," D-Metron shrugged.

"But they say it's not safe to go there, we could trespass on another territory by accident," she acknowledged.

"You don't have to worry, Ray, I won't let anyone or anything hurt you," he proudly raised his head.

"How reassuring," she chuckled.

"Ugh! Where is that horrible chuckling coming from!" Halmara exclaimed, pushing one Dozeratops as she stormed out of her cave.

"Look! It's two teensy tiny T-Trux. Ha!" Xenx smuggled. She rolled over to him to see, "Not just any T-Trux. That's Rahon's filthy little offspring! What was his name again?"

"Who cares, let's just dismantle them!" Nuke cheered, already rushing forward.

"No, you idiot!" Halmara admonished him, pulling him back with her tail.

"No? But I thought you wanted to overthrow Rahon, you know, get to rule on high and stuff," Nuke reminded her.

"Of course I want to do that. But first, I need a plan. And that kid might just be the weakness I was looking for…" she smirked, staring at the little T-Trux.

"So, if we ain't going to smash them, what do we do?" Xenx asked.

"You incompetent morons won't go anywhere near the royal kid. I have to play all the cards right if I want to stay on Rahon's good side and plot against him at the same time," she explained, "That's why I need you to discreetly separate him and the pretty girl. And you can terrify the lad a little while you're at it," she concluded and all cheered on her words.

"Hooo".

"Um… D, what was that?" Rayla asked.

"I don't know," he squealed, squeezing closer to her.

"Who's there?" she asked, holding the other Trux close.

"I'm willing to go with 'some scary Trux that doesn't want us here'," D-Metron shakily whispered. Rayla then heard a strange sound coming from the tops of the cliffsides that surrounded them, "Do you hear… D, look out!" she exclaimed after spotting huge rocks falling from above. She pushed D-Metron away, distancing herself from him just before the rock fell. But it didn't stop there; canyon continued caving in, and boulders were now constantly falling on the ground.

"Run, D!" Rayla cried out, dodging the rocks…

They both managed to escape in one piece, but now they found themselves in a secured valley, surrounded by steep and high cliffs and only two paths that led out.

"Now," on Halmara's order, Dozeratopses pushed one giant rock down.

"Take cover!" Rayla yelled, rolling away. But when it fell, the rock separated them.

"Rayla!" D-Metron cried out.

"I'm fine, D. Are you alright?" she replied from the other side.

"Yeah. Pretty shaken but… fine," he answered, she sighed in relief in response.

"Good. Though I fear I can't get to you," she stated the obvious.

"What do we do now?" he squeaked. His voice was giving away his fear.

"Don't worry. Everything's alright. We just have to roll forward and we'll run into each other eventually," she explained, but he didn't reply so, she exclaimed cheerfully: "Come on. Race you!"

"Oh ho ho, you're on!" he chuckled, swiftly rolling away.

D-Metron ended up at the edge of some forest once he escaped what he could call 'a valley of steep canyons'. He was moving slowly now, cautiously looking around.

"H-hello? Rayla?" he called.

"Pull the vine on my sign," Halmara whispered. She was hiding behind a bush with Nuke.

"Now," she ordered, but he didn't react.

"Come on, do it," she glared at him.

"I'm baiting bor the sibn," he mumbled, still holding the vine in his mouth.

"Ugh," Halmara gasped, shaking her head, "Sign…"

Nuke finally pulled it, seizing young T-Trux's tail with the vine.

"Uh. Hey!" D-Metron groaned. He started spinning his treads faster in order to break free.

"Now, now. Let go, Nuke. We wouldn't want to tire out the prince," she smirked.

"Heh," he also grinned evilly, letting go.

"Aaah!" young Trux screamed due to a sudden release. D-Metron's treads were now spinning way too fast for him to stop. Little T-Trux fell directly into a nearby pit.

"Ow," he groaned, and then everything went black.

So, that's all for now. Let me know what do you think!
