The dark haired man stood with the tall blond at his side. They both looked silently at the scene in front of them. Two men, lying side by side on the ground at their feet, blood pooling beneath their shattered skulls. Both dead from one gunshot to the back of the head, execution style. Murdered for who they were and what they believed in.

"Do you think anyone will even remember twenty years from now what happened here today?" the brunet asked with a heavy sadness creeping into his voice.

"I'm sure they'll remember, buddy," The blond said, slinging a comforting arm around the smaller man's shoulders. A soft suddenly surrounded them. "It's time to go.

The two men turned and disappeared into the light together.

County, hugged her gently. He blinked back his own tears as he read the familiar inscription on the double headstone.
