I walked down the street alone, people pushed pass, cars zoom back and forth, and children hold their mothers and fathers hands.
I sighed watching a little girl laughing as her father carried her on his shoulders. Giggles when her Mother blows raspberries on her face.
I wish I could walk over to them and join them. I watched them a while, as they ate their lunch in the park.
I would give up every thing to have a life like that. I'll give up all the Money I have. I don't care. I would give up my life. I still don't care.
Only to have my Mother back, and a farther that actually cares for me. That is all that I ask.
We were once happy- when Mother was alive. But that is just a long lost memory of the past.
But when she died… our family crumbled apart. Now I never even speak to Daddy or see him anymore. Too busy working for me.
I had a very lonely childhood; I went through so many painful experiences, which I rather not tell you.
I look away from the family, who seemed so happy. I didn't want to spoil their evening.
I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Come on." He said quietly, pulling me gently away from the scene.
I nodded my head, a few tears rolling down my face.
"Thanks, for being there for me." I smiled up to the person, he smiled back.
"Daph, I will always be here for you me and Shaggy, Velma- even Scooby!"
I gave out a little laugh.
They're right when they say: Money can't buy you love- that is true.
The Mother I never grew up with.
The Father who never loved me.
The Life I never had.
