A Lovely Ending
Chapter I
It all happened about one year after Fairy Tail gathered to recreate their guild. After it was disbanded by their former guild master Makarov, the new master chosen by all the members was Erza. By the time that Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza and Gray rescured Makarov from Zeref who was trying to kill him to lay his hands on the Lumen Histoire. While escaping Lucy fell and twisted her ankle. Natsu immediately stopped to help her because he didn't want to handle his beloved one to the enemy, the only problem was that he was still too shy to confess his feelings to Lucy. But he thought that he'll do it once they get back to the guild.

Then out of nowhere Zeref appeared from a thick black cloud of miasma.
LET'S FINISH WHAT'S BEEN STARTED ALREADY SHALL WE
Said Zeref who was now excited knowing that Natsu may be able to finally kill him.
He tried to attack the wounded Makarov but was stopped by Natsu.
Like hell I'd let you harm even one of my nakama Zeref !
Anwsered Natsu who was pissed at Zeref for trying to kill Makarov who's been like a father to Natsu and all the members at Fairly Tail. The others tried to also join the fight, but they all were halted by Natsu who clearly signalised them that he wants to fight one on one. Happy tried to disagree and stay with Natsu, but then Natsu said with a warm smile on his face.
Don't worry about me Happy, I'm just going to beat this bastards ass like always and come back to make my dream a reality. So go and escape with Erza and the others because you know that the power I'm hiding is very dangerous and I don't want to hurt you or anyone besides Zeref.
Unfortunately Zeref couldn't care less about it, so he escaped Natsu and went ahead to ambush Lucy which he knew was important to Natsu. The frightened Lucy was unable to move her body to escape him and ended up being caught be Zeref. Zeref then said while making a disgusting smile
Maybe I should kill her instead of Makarov, because it seems like all of you here care very much about her, and it looks like Natsu over there cares about her the most. So tell me Natsu if I were to kill her here and now would you finally be able to end my life?
Natsu was about to explode with wrath at the scene that was happening right before his eyes.

He said with a face that was felt with cold and ruthless killing intent which make Lucy tremble out of fear. She thought Is this person over there the Natsu I knew for so long that's ow afraid she was.
Then Natsu and Zeref emerged into a fight together but Natsu couldn't land a single blow on Zeref because he would try to use Lucy as a shield to protect himself, but he didn't do it because he suddenly changed his mind about ending his live but rather to further increase the anger and killing intent in Natsu.
