His breath smelt strongly of alcohol as they kissed. It was slow at first, yes, but it soon got deeper and more passionate. They pulled apart for a moment and looked into each others eyes. Sam smiled and bit her lip, this was the first time she'd kissed someone since her and Dylan spilt up.

Tom looked at her. "Bloody hell, you're beautiful." he smiled.

Sam smiled, her eyes twinkling. "Don't lie to me, Tom."

"Has no one ever told you that before?" Tom asked although he was tired of talking, he just wanted to kiss her again.

Sam laughed slightly and shook her head. "Dylan told me that once, on our wedding day." she sighed.

She could feel herself welling up with tears so she quickly kissed Tom again. She couldn't let Dylan's image invade her mind.

She desperately tried to kiss away the pain but Tom sensed something was wrong so he pulled away and watched Sam break down in tears in front of him.

"Sam, he's not worth it. You deserve so much better." he said softly.

Sam laughed, tears still running down her face.

"I cheated on him, he didn't cheat on me, Tom." she sighed.

"What?" Tom asked.

"You heard me."

"Listen, I can't guarantee that we won't argue but I won't leave you. No matter what happens, even if we just end up being friends. We're a team, Sam." he smiled, wiping the tears from her face.

Sam smiled before the taxi pulled up outside of her flat.

"Are you coming in?" she asked him.

Tom nodded "I think I will."
