Rachel Berry was a very famous actress.

She had appeared in The Sound of Music, Grease, West Side Story, Rent, and was poised to be the lead in Cabaret. Life had been very good to her, excluding her high school years, and now, at only 30 she was one of the biggest names on Broadway.

She fixed herself a large mug of coffee, looking out of her window at the city of New York. She was very comfortable here, she didn't feel out of place. She had everything she wanted: fame, fortune, and a penthouse loft overlooking her favourite city in the world. And then there were the millions of guys drooling all over her every second of every day. She smiled to herself. What more could she ask for?

Rachel decided to step out into the brisk November air and walk down the street to buy herself some groceries. It would be a good chance to show all the paparazzi that she was a down-to-earth woman. *Gasp* Why, she even buys her own groceries in common supermarkets!

Rachel pulled on a dark red pea-coat, and a black beret. Her favourite black boots went on over the legs of her dark-wash jeans, and she made her way onto the street.

The first reporter reached her barely a block from her home.

"Miss Berry, do you have a minute?" the blonde woman asked. She looked familiar to Rachel for some reason…

"Of course," Rachel said, flashing her most brilliant smile.

"My name is Quinn Puckerman, do you remember me?"

That's why the blonde woman looked so familiar, it was Quinn! The same girl who got pregnant by one guy while dating another. The one who was a jealous cow throughout high school, bent on making Rachel's life miserable. The one who slapped Rachel on the night of junior Prom…

"Quinn! It's wonderful to see you!" cried Rachel, putting on her best acting voice. "How have you been?" she adds, embracing the girl she hated for most of her teenage years.

"Oh I'm wonderful Miss Berry, but we're not here to talk about me, let's talk about you! You, star of Broadway for over fifteen years! How do you feel about playing the same role as the iconic Lizza Minelli?"

"Oh, it will be a wonderful experience for me, I'm so humbled to have been chosen to play a part represented by one of the most famous women of all time!" gushed Rachel.

"Wonderful. Well, Miss Berry, all the best," finishes Quinn, scribbling something down on a notepad.

"Say hi to Noah will you Quinn?" adds Rachel. "And the rest of the old Glee Club if you see them."

"Of course Miss Berry."

Rachel continues to walk down the street, heading toward the small market she usually buys her groceries at. Somehow, seeing her old classmates always gave her that extra boost. It was nice to know that the least popular and most picked on girl at McKinley had ended up higher up on the food chain than everyone else.

Well, except for Kurt Hummel, but really, he deserved the cushy theatre life he was now living with his husband and famous singer/songwriter Blaine Anderson.

Rachel bought her groceries, and walked back to her apartment, grinning at the paparazzi who called for her to smile in their direction. Why wouldn't she flaunt how happy she was in her new life?

Rachel woke up, a huge smile nearly cracking her face in two. One day she would have that life. Until then, she would accept the slushie facials. One day they would regret all the nasty things they did to her…

Hope you like it, I thought of it while I was having terrible writer's block with my other fics. Yes, it is all just a wonderful dream, but who says it won't be real one day?
