Author's Note: I own nothing, I make nothing from this. I enjoy Danny/Jordan so this is about them. This is set after the rooftop, after the kiss…

Danny walked into her house, the house that was provided to her as a President at NBS. It wasn't her house, but hers to use for free as part of her contract negotiation. It was in Santa Monica, grand, open, and very not her.
"Nice place," Danny said as he watched her walk through the grand vestibule and deeper into the house turning on lights as she walked.
"It's not," Jordan said. "It's some woman's idea of what a President of a Studio would want to impress people. I need to get a realtor."
"To?"
"Find a house," Jordan said as she looked over her shoulder at him.
"Just stay with me," Danny said so quickly he hadn't realized how the words that so easily fell out of his mouth might have scared her.
"You're on Los Feliz?"
"Yeah, how'd you…?"
"I do my research," Jordan said with a smile.
"Jordan, have you driven by my house?" Danny asked as he followed her into the kitchen.
"I know Danny Budafuco," Jordan said, not meeting his eyes.
"My next door neighbor?" Danny laughed, surprised. "Really?"
She wanted to carry on the lie but broke into a laugh.
"No, I would like to meet him, but, no, I don't know him," Jordan said as she started to walk away. "Sorry, just give me a minute."
She left the kitchen to visit the washroom, an occurrence that was happening more and more as the baby sat on her bladder. She wasn't sure what she invited him here for. Sex? A night of chat? More kissing? Jordan was feeling more and more anxious as each minute passed. Maybe this wasn't a good idea?
Not that Danny was a bad idea, but maybe inviting him here, tonight, after she told him she was crazy about him and they spoke so honestly…maybe it was too much at once?
"You have no food!" Danny yelled from the kitchen as she sat down and relieved herself in the washroom off the main hallway. "How do you sustain life with what is in your refrigerator?"
She knew he wasn't expecting a response as she sat and peed but it was still funny that he thought nothing of talking to her as she did.
She heard in the distance cupboards being opened and closed and his making noises that indicated he was not pleased with what he found. She finished peeing and, thinking of more than pee, flushed and took a towel, wet it , soaped it and wiped under her arms, around her growing belly and between her legs. She was pretty sure they weren't jumping into bed tonight but it was always nice to be fresh and prepared for whatever came your way. She swiped her teeth with her finger and some toothpaste and ran her fingers through her hair before she exited the washroom.
"Did you want to eat?" Jordan asked as she rounded the corner and noted he was no longer in the washroom but, instead outside standing on the patio she never used. "Danny?"
"How do you sustain life?" Danny asked, turning to face her. "You have a tub of yogurt, orange juice, some crackers and, what I think is bread, but it's green and may be more science experiment at this point."
Jordan laughed as she sidled up next to him. "I eat out and at the office."
"If there was an Earthquake and you were housebound…"
"I'd meet my neighbors and they'd take pity on the pregnant woman and feed me," Jordan laughed as she laced an arm through his. "Or at least their servants would."
"You have anyone helping you?" Danny asked.
"Cleaning lady," Jordan said. "She comes once a week and clears the dust. I thought it was a waste to have more staff for just me. And, really, I don't like the invasion of my space with strangers."
Danny just nodded.
"So, are you telling me you, Danny Tripp, workaholic, have food in your home?"
"The home you drove past?" Danny asked with a glint in his eye.
"Technically, I drove past your gate," Jordan smiled and looked down, embarrassed. "It's a nice gate."
"Not as nice as Budafuco's," Danny joked, realizing the admission was huge for her.
"You have food?"
"I have fresh, wonderful food," Danny said as he turned and wrapped his arms around her. "Macrobiotic food."
"You?" Jordan asked.
"Yes, me," Danny laughed. "Food is very important to most men."
"True," Jordan smiled. "I just can't picture you getting groceries. I can picture you walking through a store and grabbing a bag of potato chips but…"
"Maria, my housekeeper does my shopping and, well, prepares some food for me," Danny admitted.
"Like your mommy used to?" Jordan joked.
"She makes a few things each week and puts them in the fridge for me to re-heat, otherwise I cook for myself," Danny admitted. "I'm a great cook."
"You are?" Jordan asked, surprised.
"Food is important to men," Danny said as he kissed her nose.
"Is that all that's important?" Jordan asked, broaching the subject of sex.
"This," Danny said as he pulled her a little closer. "This is really important."
Jordan smiled up at him.
"You've had a long day," Danny said softly as he met her eyes. "I've had a long day. It's been an amazing day. Truly. But we also are both tired. I should lea…"
"Stay," Jordan whispered as she looked into his eyes. "And not in the way that most women mean when they say that. I mean, I am significantly pregnant, and probably want to drop 30 pounds and do some serious ab work before…"
"You're perfect," Danny said, his gaze soft. "Tight abs are over-rated. We can take this slow."
"I need slow right now," Jordan admitted.
"I have you and her," Danny said as he placed a hand on her tummy. "I'm good."
"Really?" Jordan asked, doubtful.
"Jordan, I am incredibly attracted to you, before and during this pregnancy," Danny said as he gave her a small smile. "But this is new, we're new, and as much as I am sure about all of this, it's still new. How about we just exist for a while, in each other's lives before we add another layer?"
"This from the man who met and married his second wife in Vegas all in one night?" Jordan asked.
"I was high as a kite," Danny admitted. "And it was all wrong from the start."
"Was it?"
"Yes," Danny said. "We were married for 3 months. I wouldn't call that a roaring success. She was an addict and so was I. It was a disaster."
"And this?" Jordan asked.
"This is perfect from the start," Danny said quietly. "You are going to be complaining about me to our grandchildren."
Jordan laughed.
"I'll stay," Danny said. "Because I want to wake up with you and I want you to wake up with me. That's all, I think, we both need right now. And tomorrow, I'd like you to seriously consider moving in with me."
"Danny…"
"I have food," Danny said with a glint in his eye. "And it's a far nicer neighborhood for kids."
"Those are your selling points?" Jordan asked.
"Come and check out my house and if you don't like it, we'll get something else," Danny said with a smile. "But if you do like it, just move in for god's sake."
"How about tonight we stay here and tomorrow we stay there?" Jordan asked. "Let's not make this into Vegas."
"You could never be Vegas," Danny chuckled.
"I don't want to be Vegas," Jordan said as she led him back toward the stairs.
