The world covered in complete with darkness; vast emptiness of space from above and below. Twilight; where lives are separated into pigments of black and white, it turned night into day, and day into night; where dawn and dusk meet. The forces of yin and yang, one cannot be without the other. It gradually turned clear blue, streaks of blood and orange emerging from the tip of the horizon. The skies itself were like fire, burning endlessly into nothing. A repeating cycle of life and death, where new lives born into the world of death and rebirth into life once again.
Two priests sat on wooden steps of the temple. They feasted upon their sacrifices and dranked soma. They continued to marvel at world together, watching it go by slowly. The birds crowed between the two worlds. The raven and the crow never exchanged a single word. All things around them were nameless. As if words spoked before they were spoken. Koumyou rose to his feet, walking gracefully over to the garden. Ukoku got up from his spot and followed the man from behind. The elder priest picked up a flower and held it gently in his grasp. He smiled as he twirled the flower between his fingers.
Koumyou showed the young priest the flower. Ukoku said nothing and smiled.
