Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Just the plotline. :)
Author's Notes: Yes, I know onyx and black are synonyms. D: And I really wanted to write a humorous fic, but I failed and wrote this. Drabble written for the LiveJournal Tenten community (tensquared) challenge. :)
Onyx Black
Black, Neji decided, was Tenten's color.
The dress was onyx black with thin straps and a high, but flattering, cut. The slinky, smooth material clung to her lithe form and the neckline dipped low; low enough to be seductive, but high enough to be classy. To put it short, Neji was trying hard to suppress his slightly obvious arousal.
It went with her hair; silky, chocolate waves cascading over her bare shoulders and down her bare back. It went with her shoes; black, strappy heels making soft clicking sounds as she crossed the room. It went with her makeup; very lightly done, but accenting her features perfectly all the same.
The only problem with it all was that it was for another man.
Her mission was to lure the criminal out while Lee and Neji watched in hiding. He was a criminal wanted in three hidden villages and had only one weakness: beautiful women. The Hokage had insisted on their team taking the mission due to Neji's eyes. Gai-sensei had not been pleased and had protested even as the village elders told him off.
Neji and Lee had not been happy with the request either, but it was not in their place to speak against their elders and in the end, even Gai-sensei had no other choice but to accept the mission his students were to complete. Tenten, typically and as most kunoichi did, detested the idea of going on a mission solely to act as bait and would have probably gone against the village council if Lee hadn't been so quick in his thinking.
Lee insisted that after he and Neji secured their target, Tenten would have the honor of killing him.
Tenten had reluctantly agreed.
None of them wanted to go on the mission but it was for their village and it was what they had to do. She would seduce him and he, as the plan went, would let his guard down. With Tenten walking elegantly in her slender black dress, there was simply no way anyone would be able to resist her. Then he and Lee would swiftly come out from their positions—Neji sitting on a nearby table alone and Lee sitting at the bar, both blending in well with the crowd in the restaurant.
They would capture him, regardless of the damage to the rather fancy restaurant—the village would take care of the damage fee—and Tenten, as promised, would finish him off, just as the mission demanded. She would kill him, Neji guessed, with a weapon concealed in a weapon pouch under her dress, at her thigh.
So although Neji despised the idea of Tenten seducing another man, he would let it go, just this once. When the man was killed, however, and they were back in Konoha, she would be his. And there was no doubt she'd use her appeal to seduce him.
After all, that dress was for him and him only.
And she'd be against the wall, lips crushed against his, bodies pressed against each other. Her slender arms would be looped around his neck and his firm hands would grip her hips through the thin black material.
Yes, black was definitely Tenten's color.
end.
