Nate, Vanessa and the Mysterious 13-year-old (or BEST. STORY. EVER!)
A/N: this is a really ridiculous story that I wrote when I was in a bad mood because I was watching Gossip Girl re-runs and Serena and Dan had broken up and Serena was flirting with Nate and Dan was flirting with Vanessa and I just wanted to cheer myself up and make it all go away and plus I've always wanted to push Vanessa and Nate off a cliff. There probably aren't any cliffs in the UES, but still. Starring me, EdieRose!
Dan Humphrey and Serena Van Der Woodsen were cuddled up on a couch, making out, and blissfully oblivious to the rest of the world.
Suddenly, the window opened and in popped Vanessa Abrams.
Serena saw her first, and sighed, pushing Dan off her and staring pointedly at Vanessa.
Dan guessed what had happened, and spoke without even turning around.
"Vanessa, please go and find someone else to piss off."
And with that Dan and Serena picked up right where they left off.
Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass were looking at each other adoringly, holding hands on a bench in Central Park, when Nate Archibald walked up to them.
"Hey guys, wanna catch a movie?"
Chuck sighed, and unwillingly turned his gaze away from Blair.
"Nate, Blair and I are kind of busy right now. Go find Punky Brewster and play with her."
And with that Chuck and Blair picked up right where they left off.
Later that night, Serena, Dan, Blair and Chuck were on a double date when they hit the subject Nate and Vanessa.
"Yeah, Vanessa came around this morning when Dan and I were...busy, and she kind of just ruined the moment, you know?" Serena complained.
"Exactly the same thing happened with Nate today in the Park," Blair agreed.
"Something has to be done," said Chuck, and all the others nodded in agreement.
A stunningly beautiful thirteen year old walked up to their table.
"Sorry to interrupt," she said in accented English. "But I could not help but overhear your conversation. My name is Edie Rose, and I think I can help you."
Over the next few weeks, Edie befriended Nate and Vanessa, keeping them away from the couples.
One day she asked them to meet her on top of the giant cliff overlooking a wildlife park.
Nate and Vanessa were standing on the edge, admiring the view and waiting for Edie to arrive when Edie came up behind them and pushed them over the edge.
Neither of them were seen or heard from again.

A/N: see what I mean when I say BEST STORY EVER?! ok, I know it didn't flow very well, and that it was soooo cliched at times, but I needed a pick-me-up, and I always liked the idea of me pushing two of my least favourite Gossip Girl people off the edge of a cliff.
