Sarah David was eight years old, she wore jeans and a blue top which was decorated with white daisies. She sighed and looked at the clock, "I'm bored" she exclaimed with a dramatic sigh as she looked at her older sister; Lana.

Lana rolled her eyes , "You're always bored, you have an attention span of a gnat!" the 26 year old American woman exclaimed with amusement and a grin painted across her face.

Sarah pouted at her elder sister; the woman was Gibbs's daughter, meaning she was Sarah's half sister although Lana was usually the one looking after her due to their parents always working.

They had tried to get a baby sitter but Sarah had managed to scare them all away. Melinda had been a 35 year old nanny and went running when Sarah blew up the microwave in one of her "scientific experiments", Lucy was an eighteen year old baby sitter that went scampering away when Sarah "accidently" pushed her in the swimming pool, well you get the idea! 34 baby sitters and nannies in the space of a couple of years and every one of the chased away by a mischevious Israeli child.

Lana grinned, "How about we go swimming?"

Sarah faked thinking about it, "No" she said stubbornly

Lana rolled her eyes at her sister, "What about we go sledging outside?"

This time it was Sarah's turn to roll her eyes, "It's too cold" she said crossing her arms

Lana laughed, "Well you can't sledge when its sunny" she said calmly and amused

Sarah shrugged, "You are annoying Lana"

Lana grinned, "Oh I am, am I?" she said giggling, "Then what is it you want to do?"

Sarah grinned, "I want to make cookies" she said excitedly and bouncing slightly on the work surface of the kitchen where they were sat.

Lana hugged her tight, "Okay but I will put them in the oven not you" she said cupping her cheek gently

Sarah's eyes went wide, "Cook them?" she exclaimed as shocked as if she had just told her she would cook a leprechaun! "Are you insane?"

The older sister burst into laughter, "I guess so" she agreed

Sarah snuggled into her sister's warmth and into the arms of her protector, "Pweeeeeeeeeez don't cook them"

Lana smiled, "We will cook one batch and eat the other, how is that?"

Sarah sighed, "Okay I spose that is alright" she said tiredly and snuggled up

Lana laughed and by the time they were finished there was cookie dough everywhere!
