Ed was sitting in the chair on the train. He was heading home. He had spent the last 2 years studying alchemist and helping others.
He thought, "It feels good going home. I wondered how my brother doing?"
A voice spoke, "It had been 4 years since the war ended. The brothers destroyed the Philosopher's stone. Soon it was forgotten in the world…"
Meanwhile Al was walking through the field. Suddenly he tripped and landed on the ground. He looked around for the caused. There on the ground lay a shiny red stone.
He picked it up and said, "Hm, why would a red stone be in a field?"
He put it in his bag. He continued home. Soon he was think of that girl he met on his travels. Before he knew it, Winry had burst out of the house and hugged him.
Winry said, "Al, I am so glad you are home!"
Al nodded, "It is good to see you, too Winry. Had Ed arrived home yet?"
Winry said, "No, I am headed to the train station now."
Al placed his bags in the house and rejoined Winry. They both went to the train station…
Soon the train station came into view. Ed got everything ready to get off. As the train cam to a stop, Ed smiled as he saw Winry.
He got off and embraced her.
He said, "Hey there! I miss you!"
Winry said, "I miss you, too!"
Ed look past her and saw his brother.
He said, "Hey, brother! I see you made it home in time."
The brothers hugged and Al said, "Good to see you too. It great to be home."
Everyone laughed as they headed home…
A voice concluded, "Well, this ends the short story "Coming Home".
We looked around for the source. Soon we saw a boy easting a sandwich on the bench.
The boy said, "I am storyteller Yeow of the fullmetalist alchemist brotherhood…I know it is a strange name. But that is how its spelled. Well, this is storyteller Yeow signing off until next time. By the way, this story kicks off the other stories for this series. The next story is "Brother Talk" The brothers talk about their trips and the future. He threw away his sandwich and headed out of the park as we headed home.
