Prologue
"So you have come" a figure said. The figure was wearing all black making in extremely hard to see his face.
"Indeed. Now what did you want to know?" A shadowy character asked as he appeared from the darkness of the alley way.
"I need to know how it is coming along, Dante" the figure said while his back was turned away from the man.
"You mean Project Ry-"Dante said hastily.
"Yes! That is what I want to know: the progress of it. So tell me Dante: is it ready?" The figure said in an evil and demanding voice that could send chills down anyone's spine.
"It is at a stand-still sir! Those working on it have many concerns about testing again. Ever since the first test's failure, the scientists have had the concern for imperfections." Dante explained in his normal tone of voice.
"We can test on the rogue genin's first since they are the weakest. Then we'll move onto the chuunin's and then the jounin's. But, we will wait to see how it goes for the genin got it? If the tests show it as unstable then keep researching." The figure said while turning and facing Dante. Dante almost lost his stature as he gazed upon the face. Its familiarity brought back memories for some reason, from a dark locked region of his mind.
"I will tell them that. Do you need anything else?" Dante said
"No you can go if you want. Or you can stay around to see this village's fall." The figure said in response.
"No thanks. I will take my leave." Dante said. "I hope Kyo makes it out alive." Dante leaves through the shadows. And a few minutes later the figures starts to laugh evilly.
"Indeed, he needs to survive so that we can talk." The figure said still laughing.
Another person appears out of the shadows and says "Sir the preparations are complete." This person had a blood red jacket on that covered his entire body.
"Huh? Oh it is you Ishi" the figure said not paying attention to what Ishi had in his hands.
"…………………" Ishi said then takes the sword in his hand and swings it at the figure.
Chapter 1
Sato sent a letter, to Gephemp "The Scorpion of the Bountiful Earth", requesting his assistance. Since Gephemp was living in Renka at the time. Gephemp received the letter from Sato and went to the tower where Sato resigned. "Nice of you to come by Gephemp, Thank You please follows me to my private studies." Upon arrival Sato greeted Gephemp and led him the Sato's private room to chat. The room had bookshelves on both sides. On the opposite side of where they entered was a wall with a few windows that over view Renka, the grassy plain city.
