I stayed outside and helped with the rest of the convoy set up camp, the heat from the sand was blistering. Carlos would bring water to me and the rest every now and then, but I would hand mine to a little kid every time. I was digging a hole for the stand lights when Claire came, "Hey K." I looked back, "Yea." I stood up either way to quick, or I got smacked in the face, I fell forward, luckily Claire was there to catch me.
I pushed myself back from her, "My bad, I got dizzy." Claire took her sun glasses off, "K-mart have you had any water today?" Claire was holding my shoulders, I was half way leaning on that and on myself. I started to tell a lie, but she knows me to well now, being a big sister to me and all that. I shook my head, "No, I gave all mine to the kids." Claire shook her head, "Your going to have to think of yourself K-mart. You could die out here from the heat."
I nodded, "Okay." I was getting dizzier and dizzier the more she talked, I just needed to get out of the sun. "Claire I think I'm going to." I didn't get to finish, everything went fuzzy and black.
