"You can't keep me here!"
The shout sounded through the infirmary. J'onn walked over to the glass of the isolation area, looking in at his friend and teammate.
"Calm down and try to get some rest if you can. I'll let you out as soon as I can."
"You can let me out RIGHT NOW!" Wally West, aka the Flash, crossed his arms.
"No, I'm afraid the locking mechanism is broken."
"No it's NOT!"
Without looking, the Martian Manhunter punched sideways, smashing the control pad for the door and leaving a considerable dent in the steel wall. "Yes it is."
"Oh, ha ha, the Martian is a comedian. You're gonna be in big trouble when Big Blue and the rest of the gang finds out you dumped me in here!"
"I have no idea what you are talking about, Flash. It is extremely unforunate that you happened to trip into the containment chamber and get yourself locked in."
"Oh yeah, they're totally gonna believe--hey, where are you going?"
"To the kitchen. I would remain with you, but I thought you might want to utilise the quiet of this place for meditation. Perhaps reflect on how greed often leads to disharmony."
"You come back here!" Wally shouted, pounding at the plexiglass as the green-skinned figure floated away from him. "You come back here and let me out! It's not my fault I have a super-metabolism! You want people to keep out of your cookies so bad, you should hide them better instead of just leaving them in the cupboard under the--Hey, I'm talking to you!"
