Author's Note: Criticize this all you want, but please don't be too harsh. I think it's pretty good.
Her Story
Forks News was on and another person gone missing. A lot of people have been vanishing left and right lately. Hopefully they turn up soon.
My mom comes rushing in the living room, while putting on her earrings and said "Bree, I just got called in to work, so I wont be able to make dinner tonight." I don't like it when my mom leaves me home alone, we don't see each other that much because she's always at work. "Can't you just tell them you can't come in tonight?" I said unable to keep the desperation out of my voice. "I wish, but we need the money."
Just before my mom was about to leave, I said " I think your forgetting something?" my mom looks at me as if I don't know what Im talking about. "What?" she said. I held up her purse. "O yeah, thanks honey, o and before I forget here's $20 dollars." she pulls out a $20 dollar bill. "Go pick up some Cheese burgers or something for dinner." She puts on her jacket and purse with a smile on her face. "Alright I'll see you later, I love you." She blows me a kiss and closes the door softly behind her. "I love you, too." I said in a low tone of voice.
It's almost 9:00 and I haven't picked up my dinner yet. I really don't like to go outside alone, when the sun is down. I might as well go before it gets too late. I grabbed the $20 dollars, shoved on my jacket and locked my apartment door. I never walk alone by myself at night, usually I walk with my mom, so this is kinda new for me.
I entered the doors of the diner, I noticed that I was the only customer, maybe because it was getting late. As I waited for the waitress, I noticed I wasn't alone. He was the hottest boy I'd have ever seen, tall, and blond, and perfect, every feature. I knew his eyes must be just as beautiful behind the dark sunglasses. I couldn't help myself but to stare, usually I don't stare at people, I wonder if he noticed. About a minute later the waitress shows up "How may I help you?" "umm… yes, may I have 2 cheese burgers and a medium fry." I said kindly. "alright, that'll be $6 dollars." I handed her the money. "it'll be done in 3 minutes." she said.
I kept looking over at the Conner of my eye at the ever so handsome boy, sitting at that lonely table, that's when we made eye contact, I looked away in a fraction of a second. "Order up!" the waitress called. I grabbed my food and I was out of there.
I took a short cut down a dim alley, I took this short cut plenty of times. Almost at the end of the alley, I heard movement coming from behind a dumpster up ahead, my heart was racing. I began to speed walk, until someone peered from behind the dumpster. "W-what do you want?" I said trembling. I wasn't able to see the person clearly. "Now now, just relax." I could tell it was a guy, just by the sound of his voice. He began walking closer to me. "Look, you better stay back, I'll scream!" I said furiously. Before he could move any closer, I dropped my food and before I could take off running, he grabbed my arm and yanked me toward him, holding me close to him.
"Just relax, this will only hurt for a little while." he leaned toward me and before I could let out a scream, I felt a sharp pain on my throat, I couldn't scream, what was happening to me? In the moonlight I could see who was attacking me, it was the ever so handsome boy I seen at the diner.
Unable to scream for help, I just thought to myself 'Will I die tonight?' 'Will I be on the missing persons list' and the one thought that made my heart stop 'Will I ever see my mom again?'
I could hardly see and hear, all I could think about at the moment was the excruciating pain on my neck. After the boy was finished with me he said " Your one of us now." What did he mean 'Your one of us now?'
Then he began to carry me away bridal style. Unable to think any longer, I passed out.
