Casey was lying in her bed, trying to fall asleep. The night had turned put all wrong………

She broke up with Max, a great guy in order to be with Cappie. She thought Cappie would take her into his arms, and that could be that. But nothing ever turns out the way it's supposed to.

Cappie turned her down. She handed him her heart, and he did take it from her. He did. Then he threw it on the ground, rubbed dirt on it and then let a dog run off with it. Jerk.

Then Frannie showed up and that really freaked her out. What was worst was that she was actually nice. Her being nice, made Casey want to run and hide.

When Frannie left, Casey took a nice long shower, changed into her pink ZBZ pajamas, and grabbed a plate of cookies and a cup of milk. She then walked into her room and decided to watch 'Dawson's Creek'. Hey if she was gonna act like Joey Potter, she might as well see how Joey handled rejection.

After watching 3 episodes and eating 5 plates of cookies Casey ended up in her bed feeling full, fat and worst of all, alone. Finally around 4:00 am, she fell asleep.

Later that morning, Casey woke up feeling once again, alone. No wait, she was alone. Ashleigh was nowhere to be seen. Considering Casey left the KT party before Ashleigh, she figured Ash would sleep till past 2:00. It was now 11:30.

"Ash?!?" she called out.

Nothing.

Casey climbed out of the bed and stumbled into the hallway. ZBZ sisters were roaming the halls, clearly suffering from bad hangovers. When Casey got downstairs, she noticed Rebecca in the kitchen.

"Hey Bex." She muttered.

"Big Sis." Rebecca nodded.

"Have you seen Ashleigh?" Casey asked, pouring coffee of her own.

"Yeah, I saw her earlier. She said she was going shopping and then was gonna have brunch with Fisher."

"Oh, okay." Casey said walking into the living room.

Rebecca watched as Casey sat down and began to drink her coffee. As soon as she was sure Casey wasn't paying attention to her, she pulled out her phone and began to text.

"Get your ass in here NOW!!!!!" she texted.

"Alright geez." The person responded.

Almost immediately after Rebecca received the text, the front door opened and in walked Cappie. He walked up behind Casey, trying to work up the courage to say something.

"Hey, Casey." He finally said.

Casey turned to look at her ex-ex-boyfriend. "Cappie." She muttered.

"I was gonna talk to you last night, but I figured you didn't want to talk." He said, sitting down across from Casey. When he got no response, he continued.

"Look, I thought that you only had these feelings for me because you almost died because of the manhole." Both quietly chuckled. "And I thought you were confused. But then I talked to Ashleigh." Casey looked up at him. "And she told me that you have had these feelings for a while. She told me that you broke up with Max, for me."

Casey slowly looked down at her coffee.

"If you still feel that way, you know I'm single." Cappie said, hope very noticeable in his voice.

Casey stood up, "I'll have to think about it. I mean I gave you my heart and you smashed it." Casey brushed past him.

"What?" Cappie asked. He was not expecting it to happen like this.

"Kidding." Casey smiled, turning around to face Cappie.

Sighing, Cappie pulled Casey in for a long, gentle kiss.

They were so happy about being together; they didn't realize that Rebecca, Ashleigh and Rusty were sitting on the stairs, watching.

"Finally." They all whispered at the same time.
