"Stop staring mate." Sirius said to James as he punched him playfully on the chest. "Just go ask her out if you really like her."
"Yeah, she hates me. I'm just going to make another fool of myself. If she really wants me to stop then I'll stop." James said with a serious face.
Sirius couldn't believe he was serious.
"You were in love with her since first year. Now because she said "stop" you are going to give up on her?"
"I don't want to be a pushover."
"Just go get her."
"Yeah, I'll be back." James couldn't help himself he quickly walked toward Lily Evans.
"Hey Lily, how's it going?" Lily turned around.
"I'm Regina you freak." She replied.
"So where is your sister?"
"You think I know?" She said as she checked her nails just in case it was in need of extra filing.
"Great." James said sarcastically. He walked back to his original seat.
"I can tell it didn't go so well." Sirius said.
"It wasn't even her."
"You mean it was…" Sirius said as he turned pink.
"Hogsmeade is next weekend, you better get going mate."
"She's going out with freakin' Diggory." He replied.
"So at least go remind her that if anything goes wrong…" James replied.
Sirius walked toward the girl with fire red hair.
"Hey Evans. Just in case you and Diggory have problems. My shoulder is free for your tears." Sirius said.
"Black, that was the corniest line I have ever heard in my life. And for your information me and Amos's relation is strong. So your shoulder is not needed." She said.
"Okay, so don't forget, just in case…"
She walked over to a different Gryffindor and started talking.
Sirius walked over to James.
"What does she see in that guy? He sucks at Quidditch and he's in Hufflepuff."
"You'll get her don't worry."
"You know that Potter kid was looking for you." Regina Evans said to her twin sister.
"Potter? He won't leave me alone! When will he get it? I DON'T LIKE HIM."
"Why are you being so defensive?" Jamie, Lily's best friend asked.
"I'm not being defensive, I just don't like that smelly blood-sucking heart- brea-."
"You see? You're doing it again. You like him. Just face it."
"I do not."
"Okay so just say you don't hate him."
"But I do."
"You're impossible." Regina said as she brushed her red hair.
"What about you? Where were you today? I didn't see you anywhere. You didn't even show up to History of Magic." Jamie said to Regina.
"Oh, I was busy." Regina said as she looked away.
Lily wanted to change the subject before they got too deep into conversation about her biggest crush- her sisters boyfriend.
She felt horrible about it. But she couldn't help it. He was so much more appealing that Potter. His hazel eyes were so big. He was a little shorter than Potter but that was okay. Wait, why was she comparing the beautiful Amos Diggory to James Potter? Were they even comparable? Why was she thinking about Potter so much. She couldn't like him. She had to hate him. But why? She didn't have to. BUT SHE DID! She was in love with Amos Diggory and that was it. Case closed.
"What did you get for number two on page three on the Transfiguration?" Lily asked Jamie quickly.
Jamie flipped back to her homework.
"Sagratonium. What did you get for number sixteen?" Jamie asked.
"I skipped that one."
Lily checked her watch. It was eleven forty six. She had to get some sleep for her Charms quiz tomorrow.
"I have to get some shut-eye. Good night." She climbed under the covers and before she knew it she was fast asleep.
