Augustus Water's P.O.V Hello, my name is Augustus( or Gus as most people call me) Waters. My girlfriend, Hazel Grace Lancaster, and I decided to go and visit Walt Disney World during spring break rather than going to frat parties in college. We are currently in line to buy tickets for the 5 day stay at Walt Disney World. In front of us was this nice looking couple who looked like from the area so we decided to introduce ourselves to them. They introduced themselves as Margo Roth Spiegelman and Quentin Jacobsen. They told us that they were also gonna be at the theme park for the next five days and invited Hazel and I to join them. After we purchased the tickets, Hazel and Margo decided they wanted to go to the magic kingdom first. As we started walking towards the castle, we encountered many Disney characters. Hazel and Margo wanted pictures so Quentin and I hung back. When we finally reached the magic kingdom, we all decided to ride the Astro Orbiter first. The line for it was fairly short but enough of a wait for us to get to know each other better. I learned that Margo and Quentin lived next to each other in Jefferson Park, which wasn't far from here, and had known each other since they were little. Hazel and I told them of our story and how we had both battled cancer for a long time but now we were cured. They congratulated us just as the ride attendants ushered us up the elevator and strapped us down. The ride went in circles and you could control the height at which you could go. The higher you went, the more the rocket ship would tilt inwards. The tilting of the rocket ship was scary because it felt as if we were going to fall off the rocket ship. The ride didn't last that long and when we got off we went to the next ride, which Quentin and I chose. What we chose wasn't actually a ride but more like a sort of auditorium. We entered the Monsters, Inc. Laugh floor and sat in the second row. There was a big screen, like in a movie theater, and some statues of the characters off of Monsters Inc. The whole scenario was really funny. Basically, the characters of Monster Inc. made jokes and did silly stuff and there was this laugh-o-meter and the louder the audience's laugh was, the more the laugh-o-meter would rise. A new scenario would begin each time the laugh-o-meter filled up until all/most of the clips played out. After we exited the auditorium, we we on several rides and called it a day. All four of us returned to the hotel, that earlier today we found out we were all staying at, and rested up for the next days adventure.
