High School Edition
With us love is true, love is pure, and love would be hated by all of our friends. "I'm so bored!" Alex moaned lying back on my bed and putting my pillow over his head. "Alex come on. We need to get halfway through this project tonight to get a good start." I stated for the third time that night. And then I got an idea. "Alex I know how to get you up." There was a long pause. "How?" came his muffled question from under my pillow.
"Well I learned that all it takes to get a curtain cute Latino up is a bucket and a little cold water." I answered and smirked when he shot up strait and in a worried voice said "You Wouldn't would you?" "No I probably wouldn't but your mom gives handy tips." I said smirking again at my very un amused Latino boyfriend.
A few hours later we were on our school website to find out what novel we had to read for English Literature. "Oh how amusing. Alex guess what book we have to read?" I said turning to him with raised eyebrows. "What is it …Wait! Let me guess." He said and got in his thinker pose. "Ummm O.K. I give up tell me." He finished with the cutest puppy dog face on. "This is so ironic we have to read Romeo & Juliet." And as I said this he walked over and put a hand on my shoulder.
I looked up into his beautiful eyes as he said with a sigh "Why read it when you have lived it right?" and I sighed too and let him pick me up in his arms and carry me to my bed. "Well we really aren't living it seeing as we aren't getting married by secret, there is no plague, we aren't both dead, and you haven't killed my cousin." as I said this we both started laughing and before long we were both asleep. But my last conscious thought that night was: it is Romeo & Juliet but it is also Romeo & Juliet high school edition which is much much worse.
