I do not own Danny Phantom, which is owned by Butch Hartman. I wrote this due to my irritation of annoying flame reviews.
Tucker's eye twitched as he read a review for a fanfiction he wrote. He heard some footsteps, and saw Danny and Sam approach him, entering his cluttered room, his laptop on. They took a look at the address bar, and twitched.
"Tucker, I thought we agreed to never go to this site again." Danny said. Tucker shrugged.
"I got bored. Thus, I wrote stories of stuff that happened to us. So, now I'm reading the reviews. I've gotta say, MANY of them annoy me." He said. Scooting over for Danny and Sam to see, they read.
The reviews were awful. There was a rampant amount of anonymous reviews with insulting names for titles, and flames in all caps, colorful language, and rudeness. Other people who were logged in still gave a bad review, without mentioning why they didn't like one thing or another, and just bashing it. Sam frowned.
"Oh, come on! These guys can't even say what they liked, what they didn't like, how they might fix it, and politeness? And these anonymous reviews gotta be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. The grammar and spelling and the caps lock of their words merely tell me they are twelve year olds who need more attention, and have no life, and find being rude to others appropriate. Geez. They don't like, they don't have to review." Sam said, irate. Danny frowned as well.
"Well, can we at least read the story, please, Tucker?" Danny asked. Tucker smiled and nodded, clicking a link.
As Danny and Sam read, they tried not to gag at the awfulness. Tucker wrote them somewhat out of character, the grammar and spelling was horrid, and the plot was blah. Despite it happening to them, Tucker didn't capture it correctly.
Upon finishing, Tucker looked up at them.
"Well?" He asked. Danny and Sam shared a brief look, before they looked back at Tucker.
"Well...Uh..." Danny tried to speak.
"...It...Was...Interesting. If you work on your skills, you can do better. There were grammar and spelling issues, but this could be fixed if you got a beta reader, or, read over it another time. Also, the plot was a little bland, but I'm sure if you spiced it a little with more details, it'd make a nice story. Good try, though. For a first story, this isn't TOO terrible." Sam said politely. Tucker looked a little disappointed, but nodded, thankful for his friend's kindness.
"Well, thanks for being polite and not giving a mean review. It helps me want to try harder to perfect my stories, rather than just quit." He said. Danny and Sam nodded, smiling. Tucker grinned.
"Now, last one to the Nasty Burger pays for lunch!" Tucker said, standing up and getting a head start.
"TUCKER!" He heard two voices call after him as he ran.
He laughed as he was chased by Danny and Sam.
All the while, he thought of more story ideas based off of this experience.
