PS: I gave this to my friend on the 22nd of May, and I just thought of putting it here in now since it's related to Detective Conan ^_^ please enjoy!

This is dedicated to my friend JigokuAi who loves the pairing ConanAi in Detective Conan ^_^ HAPPY HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY! MAY 22! =) This is for you. =D I really suck at poems… haha, AND my weakness is writing poems, too! But, I really did my best here, I decided on poem instead of a story to make it more unique… cuz' I don't usually write poems, haha, unless I'm asked to. Sorry if it's really terrible… it's the thought that counts… right? …uhm… right? *looks around hopefully* …right? *hides in embarrassment*

Here Ai I'm Here

I see her face, wounded and bloody
I look at her with sadness in my eyes
She looks and smiles at me with assurance
I shot a cold stare at the mean baddy

With horror I watched her being carried
Carried inside the nearby ambulance
Now she gives me a last look, I'm worried
I want to tell her, but I have no chance

Now, she shakes in her sleep as tears fall down
She yells my name repeatedly, I cry
She stretches her hand up high, searching… I frown
She cries louder in sleep, wanting to die

She can see me in her dreams… I know
"I'm always here for you, I won't leave you…"
"Kudo… thank you for everything you… you…"
Then… suddenly, she screams. "Don't leave me! No!"

Her eyes began to water, I wipe them
Her hands violently shake, I hold them
In her dream, I might have abandoned her
"It's just a dream. I am here." I murmur

Her eyes flutter open beautifully
Her eyes wander around, searching for me
My sole presence, she did not seem to see
Then I walk towards her; held her quickly

"I'm here…" I whisper. She turns her head 'round
Not daring to believe, she strokes my cheek
"It's not a dream." I say with a soft sound
Now, I finally saw the smile I seek

I gently pinched her cheek for assurance
"It's not a dream. I'm really here." I say
"I never left you." I said with a smile
"Where am I?" She asks while looking my way
"The hospital. You got shot in the aisle."

"By Gin?" She asks softly. I nod sadly
"Don't be scared." I say while holding her hand
She searches for answers in my eyes badly
I hold her hand. "Here, Ai. I'm here, for you."

JigokuAi-chan! ^_^ Did you like? XD I hope you did cuz' my dad was telling me to go take a bath the whole time I was writing this, and I kept insisting, No! I have to finish this for JigokuAi's birthday! And… he waited… waited and… Take a bath already! You have school at 7 am tomorrow! And he was about to close the computer but I begged please please please few more minutes! So, finally I finished XD thanks to my dad's patience. =) again…HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
