A/N: So this is from HetaOni, and I meant to leave it off like they leave us hanging ^_^ If you want to know what happened, go watch it on youtube, it's uber amazing ^_^

"This is so exciting, you guys!" America practically danced in his shoes, he was so enthusiastic.

The cause for his exuberance was that the hallway they stood in at the moment belonged to a certain haunted mansion. He had heard of it from Italy at the world meeting, and immediately put a group together and they had head off for it, ready for a small adventure before dinner.

"Yes, it is very interesting," Russia chimed in, talking over Canada, who was about to say something. They were currently in a group of three, while the other country's had split into two other groups to explore other floors of the house.

"Let's try this room," America ran over to the first door down the left hallway, and turned the handle. "Aw, it's locked. Why would someone lock the door to an abandoned haunted house? Well, whatever, let's try that one," he pointed to the last door in that hall. "Or, we could go around the corner and see what's down there." He threw out the idea to his friends, turning to look at them. Suddenly, he saw Canada pale, and Russia tensed up, grabbing the water pipe he used as his weapon. They were looking at something behind him.

America turned around. A creature with a big head and bulbous eyes stared back. It had deathly grey skin, and nearly reached the ceiling it was so tall.

"A-a ghost!" America shouted. "What should we do, guys?"

Before anyone could say anything, it attacked, swiping at America with an over huge hand, causing him to leap backwards to avoid getting hurt.

"It would seem it's not a nice ghost," Russia commented. He rushed forward, bringing his pipe down on the creature's abdomen before leaping back to the other two countries. He quickly surveyed the damage. "It didn't do anything."

"Then we can't fight it," Canada said. He knew Russia was the strongest one there, and if his attacks had done no damage, then neither will his nor America's.

"Russia, take Canada and go, I'll hold it off and meet up with you somewhere else," America said, pulling out his pistol. Gone was the jovial, carefree country. He didn't care much about Russia, but he wasn't going to let it harm his little brother.

"But-" Canada started to say, but he was cut off again.

"Go, now!" America yelled at them as the creature ran forward. He fired three shots, hoping to slow it down. Thankfully, the creature staggered although the bullets didn't pierce its body, and Russia grabbed Canada and fled.

As it recovered, America fired off two more shots, and staggered it slightly once more. He decided to take the chance, and turned to run down a different hallway, away from his friends because he knew it would follow. But the bullets seemed to be less effective this time, and it recovered faster than he anticipated. It ran up to him, and slammed him against the wall with enough force to fracture the plaster. America felt his head slam against it with a worrying crack, and he lost his vision. Unable to see, bleeding, and in immense pain from a concussion and cracked skull, the country felt fear.

I can't die, right? He thought. I'm a country, yet why do I feel like I can die, like one of my human citizens? America's breath came out in gasps as a small panic attack came over him. Just as his vision started to come back, he saw the blur of the creature's form reaching for him.
