A/N: This is just something that popped into my head when I randomly compared Junpei's Strength stat with Akihiko's. ...Why exactly is Junpei's Strength stat so high? He's pretty much a couch potato, for crying out loud! And to have a stronger Strength stat than someone who boxes is... Well... A bit weird, don't you think?
Well, then again, I guess boxing is focused more on endurance and speed than just flat out strength. ...Wait, Junpei has higher Endurance too?! WTF ATLUS.
But this is just me going on about things of little importance. What I've been meaning to say is, I hope you enjoy! (Hopefully it isn't too cringe-worthy?) And if you can spare the time, dropping a review would be awesome. :) Whatever you have to say, I welcome it with open arms!
He's boxed and fought before it happened,
The weighty medals evidence.
And bruises ringed around his chest,
They throb just once, then not at all;
Yes, he's fought before.
Champion; Undefeated!
Athletic beyond belief!
He gets knocked down but he gets back up
And maybe that's the difference;
Thud! Thwack!
And his opponent –
Bam! – slowly –
Thwack! – loses ground and stance
"Doing this for her" he says –
Thud! – And for a moment – Thwack! –
He believes the trophies.
But now he's out of the ring and inside Tartarus,
And the guy before him, weak in mind and build
Is laughing, but ready; "hey, I'm Junpei!"
And in four months, "Chidori! She likes me!"
Is all that clown can say.
They run through Thebel, Harabah,
Adamah, Monad, Shadows scatter 'neath fist and blade,
He's hitting for 250 and the clown for 315
His tempered fists to Junpei's swing
And Junpei's swings are harder, vicious –
Wait, what? What of the boxer?
"Chidori! She likes me!"
And Akihiko wonders how the fuck that guy surpassed him in the first place.
