The Christmas Holidays had just begun. Ron and I stayed at Hogwarts to keep Harry company. I spent most of my time in the library looking up information on time travel. I was going to write my NEWTs thesis on time travel and time turners. The only problem is that information is scarce.

As I walked through the dusty shelves I ran my hand across the top of the books when suddenly I came across a book that I didn't recognize, it didn't have a title on the front but that was hardly unusual. When I opened it the first page read, "So you want to travel though time." I quickly went to my usual table (way in the back where I can be alone) and began to read.

Later I was walking down the hall my head spinning with thoughts of the revolution, dinosaurs, and so many things that weren't witnessed by a comprehending witch or wizard. Apparently a person could travel very far back in time with a large time turner that is meant for days or years, and in order to go forward you simply have to turn the time turner back once then forwards the amount of time to be traveled plus one more turn to counter-act the first.

So after I learned exactly how to travel though time I got out the old time turner I got from the ministry back in my fifth year. It was a decade turner so I could only go back to certain dates.

I decided that Harry and Ron had a bad influence on me so I could say it was their fault once this was all over so I ran in to the nearest broom cupboard and turned the time turner twice.

The world spun like a top and I was getting sicker and sicker. Then as suddenly as it started it stopped. Slightly dizzy I sat down,

"Ouch" a muffled cry came from below me and I realized that I had sat on someone, then…

"Harry?" I recognized that messy black hair immediately. What time was this? Was James Potter still at Hogwarts 20 years ago, or had something gone terribly wrong.
