I know, I know. I just randomly wrote a one-shot when I should be working on the other stories. Go ahead, say it. "Why aren't you working on Headcanons instead, EverythingMath?"
Sorry guys. But this is cute, so… :P
Big Sister
Julchen's slim form was sprawled across a pile of paper. Ink smeared across a luckily unused sheet. Ludwig gave a sigh of thanks that it was unused, knowing Julchen would flip her lid if her precious compositions were ruined.
Ludwig moved around his older sister's sleeping form, at first, cleaning up the wayward musician's ink and papers. He refrained from organizing them: Julchen had her own way of doing that.
She's going to wake up with a stiff neck, Ludwig realized. Well, after her caring for him all those years, he couldn't very well let something small like that happen, could he? He slid his arms carefully under her body and lifted her up.
Ludwig allowed himself to smile. During the day, Julchen made up of her lack of height by her attitude, and she seemed so strong, but in his arms she weighed no more than a feather. She draped gracefully over his arms, so calm.
Ludwig carried her to her room, and set her gently on her bed. He tucked in the sheets like Julchen did for him when he was a child.
Realizing Julchen still had the loose rubber band at the end of her fraying braid, he crossed back over to the bed and tugged her hairtie out. Her hair fell over the pillow, framing her head like a halo.
"G'night, big sister," Ludwig rumbled softly, rolling his feet so as to not make noise while he walked back to his room.
…
Julchen woke up, lazily pulled a white and black dress over her head, and padded over to her table. She sat down and continued where she left off, oblivious. Ludwig stood, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, and smiled.
The End.
So, the headcanon here is that Julchen, a composer and musician, is staying at Ludwig, a mechanical engineer's, house. She makes money rather irregularly, but helps pay the bills. She's dating Matthew right now, but who really cares about that? :)
Anyway, hope you enjoyed it. Please please please review, it means so much to me.
