Edward Elric was rocking in his rocking chair. He was holding his small son, Miko Elric. Edward had resigned from the military after restoring his brothers body, and wanted to settle down at the age of eighteen.
His wife and him lived a happy life, and when they were twenty six and twenty five, they were surprised with a pregnancy.
Rukinichi Elric was a bright woman, though her Uncle happened to be none other than Roy Mustang. She was glad that he was, or else she never would have met the love of her life, Edward.
Rukinichi had long black hair, though recently she had been putting it into a bun, and was thinking about cutting it short.
She also had white eyes. Though, not very common, they always made Edward feel better when he had doubts about his choice of lifestyle.
Sure, he had been ready to settle down when he was still a teenager, hardly a legal adult. Though, he was glad he did it. Most of the time he was glad, anyway. Sometimes, Edward wished that he had pursued his dreams of traveling around the world.
He could have left to travel after his son was born, though he did not want to end up like Hohenheim. Not even if he understood his reasoning better after getting Al back.
Edward and Ruki were blessed with a son as their first born. His name was Miko Elric, and he had white hair and black eyes. They were unsure of how his hair ended up white, or how his eyes ended up black, though Roy said that he got them from Ruki's father.
Ruki never knew her father, so it was likely that she wouldn't know what he looked like. Ruki's mother had never shown any pictures to her, and after she passed away, Ruki was sent to live with Roy. Though, she did not know what her father looked like, she always had a mental image. Roy eventually showed her a picture after Miko was born, and they did look just alike.
Shortly after the birth of their son, Edward and Ruki found out that they were expecting yet another child. They thought with the risks of pregnancy minimum after already having one child, they could not use protection as much, and go by the calendar for sex.
Of course, this did not work, and soon were blessed with their newborn daughter. Her hair was just beginning to grow, though it was red. Her eyes were an extraordinary green, and they were brilliant in Ed's eyes.
Ruki told Edward that Yuui was the perfect image of her grandmother. That was something that Edward did not expect, though he was somewhat glad his kids didn't look like him at all.
Edward took Miko and laid him in his crib. The two infants had their cribs in Ed and Ruki's room to get to them easier. Though, they would soon be put in their own rooms that Ed and Al decorated when Ruki was pregnant each time.
Ruki took her daughter and laid her in the white frilled bassinet.
"Edward, do you think you would want to have another baby?" Ruki asked him quietly.
"Well, right now we have two babies, so I don't think we should have another one anytime soon," Ed said.
"Yeah, you're right," Ruki smiled. She changed into her white night gown, and laid down in her bed.
"I love you, Edward Nicholas Elric," she said before kissing Edward.
Ed cuddled into Ruki for a moment before saying, "I love you, Rukinichi Mustang Elric," before they drifted to sleep together.
