Disclaimer: I don't own Prince of tennis, but if I did, it'd turn into Prince of Sex.

A/N: Got inspired by the song "Love is You" by Chrisette Michele. This isn't a song fic though. Just a drabble on how Ryoma views his feelings about Shusuke.

What Is Love?

"I don't understand."

"What do you mean you don't understand? You're in love with him."

"What? You're being weird, Momo-senpai."

"Echizen, mada mada dane."

It was a known fact that when it came to romantic love, Ryoma Echizen was completely clueless on it. If he were to play a love game, he'd definitely fail. The only things he ever thought of were Japanese food, ponta, tennis, Karupin, his family, and his friends. He never experienced the heart throbbing feelings, the butterflies in his stomach, or the happiness he felt when he heard Fuji-senpai's name. It was all new to him, so he asked Momo-senpai for advice. He still didn't understand what Momo-senpai meant when he said Ryoma was in love.

What the heck? Love….for Fuji-senpai...impossible. Ryoma wanted to deny these feelings, especially if it was for Fuji-senpai. Fuji-senpai was so odd to him, but at the same time so attractive. Something about Fuji-senpai made Ryoma blush and feel happy. Ryoma was raised with the mentality that romantic love was only between different sexes though. Maybe Fuji-senpai never even thought of me anyway. Oh well, off to tennis.

While playing tennis, Ryoma shrugged off all feelings he had about Fuji-senpai. Tennis was more important. He strived to get better and better. No matter how hard practice was, he'd still do it. Rain or shine, tennis can be played in any weather for him. Love for tennis. That was the only love he really knew much of, but feelings for Fuji-senpai? That was hard to think of.

Ryoma went to the changing room. He saw Fuji-senpai taking his shirt off. Fuji-senpai has abs. Ryoma blushed thinking about his upperclassman's body. Fuji-senpai was pretty attractive with his flowing brown hair and poker face. It made people wonder about the brunette. The body was also a plus. Ryoma took off his own shirt and compared his body to his senpai's body. Dang, I'm still small. Still, I wonder how it'd feel to be held by Fuji. WAIT, NO NO NO, I CAN'T THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS. STUPID HORMONES.

Ryoma sighed and quickly dressed. He didn't want to think about all this anymore. Love was just too complicated for him. Ryoma headed out, only to bump into Fuji-senpai.

"Echizen, how about movies on Saturday? My treat." Fuji-senpai's tone was very flirtatious. In fact, if one hadn't heard what he said, one could still tell Fuji-senpai was flirting with Ryoma. Ryoma, of course, didn't know that Fuji-senpai was flirting with him, but something about how Fuji-senpai said those words made him blush.

"Eh, sure." Ryoma replied, although a bit hesitantly. He wanted to practice tennis on Saturday, but he supposed a day with Fuji-senpai instead of tennis wouldn't harm him too much. Besides, he wanted to be with Fuji-senpai.

Fuji-senpai kissed Ryoma on the lips and smiled.

"Ryoma, I'll see you on Saturday then. By the way, you can call me by my first name. I don't mind." Fuji-senpai walked away, leaving a poor, tomato red face Ryoma standing. Gah, a kiss? That was too much! Still, even if Ryoma thought a kiss was weird, he couldn't help but smile and touch his lips. He was looking forward to Saturday.

Omake.

"Thanks for telling me this, Momoshirou."

"No problem, Fuji-senpai, but why did you want to know about Echizen and my conversation?"

"Oh, nothing. Just curious." Fuji smiled and left. So, Echizen can feel these kinds of feelings too, huh? This will be interesting.
