A Walk In The Park

-------------

---------

After much cajoling, Smithers finally persuaded Mr. Burns to spend a few hours in the sunshine in the local park. They had just settled on a bench beneath a leafy Willow tree, when -

"Smithers! What on earth is that?" Mr. Burns cried, shrinking back in horror. "I do believe I've never seen anything so grotesque in my life!"

"Er…that's a child, Mr. Burns," his companion replied.

"A child? In a park? On a sunny day like this?" The old man started in shock. "Whatever next? Arrgh! Whatever is it doing? Teeth bared, eyes wide - "

"I think it's smiling, Sir."

"Smi – ling?" Mr. Burns repeated, forming the unfamiliar word. "Well - not enough smi and far too much ling, I say."

The child shrieked with laughter and Monty fell to the ground, his hands clapped over his ears. "Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggghhhh! The sound of the devil itself! I've never faced anything so horrid!"

A flashback reveals a duel between a young Monty Burns and a pack of ferocious three-headed dragons, switching to a flashback of a particularly frightening horror film that he once watched.

Mr. Burns continued to squirm on the ground, fearing for his life as the child towered over him. "Smithers! Why did you insist on bringing me to this monster garden? My blood is coursing through my veins as we speak!"

A close up of Mr. Burns' veins shows a lone, decrepit old red blood cell trip over and fall flat on it's front.
