Real or Not?

AN: Well, hi. I'm on my way to 100 stories, so I'm randomly writing romance drabbles/oneshots. Yes, I'm in a romantic mood right now.

I decided to write for Walt and Sadie... I was torn between Phineas and Isabella, Walt and Sadie, and some other couple... I ended up doing Walt and Sadie... Don't think I did Walt justice... I apologize for my suckiness.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Kane Chronicles.

Do you ever think , when you're all alone?

All that we could be, where this thing could go?

Am I crazy or falling in love?

Is it real or just another crush?

He's met a lot of girls, but none better than her.

She was just... so... original. She wasn't scared to be herself, unlike a lot of the other girls he knew. She was bold, courageous, and determined. (Sometimes, that was a bad thing, but it was mostly good.) Yet, at the same time, there where times where she could be so nice... and kind, and things you would've never thought to use to describe her.

She was everything that he was looking for.

He kept finding himself thinking of her—way too often, he noticed. His mind was always on her. Always. Her face often filled his dreams; they always turned out to be either really good dreams or really bad dreams.

Good dreams? He gets cured, and they get married.

Bad dreams? He dies, and she's left brokenhearted.

He would hate to break her heart; but, how can he help himself? He likes her, he knows that, but how can he like her if he's doomed to die of an ancient curse? That'd be torturing both of them.

Still, as much as he tried, he couldn't stop liking her. He tried to keep himself detached from her, but it wasn't working at all. His feelings for her were too strong, and they weren't going away any time.

But, he couldn't help but wonder: What if she was just another girl? Just another pretty face, nothing all too important. What if his feelings for her were petty, a simple crush? It seemed that way, but at times, his heart felt like it was going to burst out of his feelings for her. All he thought of, all it seemed to be that he lived for was her.

No, she wasn't just another girl. She was original, amazing, incredible. She was most definitely not another pretty face, and she was so, so important. His feelings for her used to be a crush, but they'd blossomed into something much stronger than that.

He was pretty certain that he loved her.

(Now if he could only find out if she felt that way about him...)

AN: Well, review, if you want to, lol. 78 stories; 22 to go to 100!

My goal is to reach 100 by next year. Think I'm up for it?
