Once Upon A Time Season 2:

Henry and I watched as the purple cloud of smoke came barreling towards us, I could feel Henry grab tighter to my jacket and I held him close. The smoke consumed the building, an eerie silence fell over all of Storybrook. My skin felt tingly, my head throbbed and my legs buckled underneath me as everything went black.

"Emma, Emma wake up…. Mom" Henry's voice sounded muffled but I could feel his hands shaking me. I opened my eyes to a brilliant light shining in on me and I had to squint to see anything. Henry came into focus.

"What happened?" I asked only to have Henry throw his arms around me.

"You passed out Emma. How does your head feel?" One of the doctors asked helping me up.

"Fine, so is it over?" I asked looking at all of them.

"Yeah magic is back Emma. You did it." Henry said happily.

"No Henry. We did it." I replied wrapping my arms around him. "Wait, August." I cried pulling away and running out of the building. Henry chasing after me.

"EMMA." Mary Margret called from across the street.

"Mom… Dad" I smiled as they came over.

"Emma I can't believe it's you. I missed you sweetie." She smiled giving me a tight hug.

"Hey princess." dad said hugging me when mom let go.

"Hi dad." I smiled.

"Emma weren't you on a mission?" Henry asked.

"Right, I'll be right back." I said turning on my heals and running for the little inn on the other end of town.

I took two steps at a time till I reached the forth floor and paused before I opened the door.

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. Me opening the door and the room coming into view. August was sitting on the edge of the bed looking out the window and I sighed in relief. I went to take a step forward but something told me to stop. I stole a glance at his arm… Wood…. I wanted to collapse right there but I couldn't take my eyes off him.

Then right there in front of me the wood slowly started to turn to flesh. I watched as his arm became "normal" again.

As his body turned he started to tremble. I walked closer and sat next to him on the bed. He flinched when I sat down and I laid my hand on his shoulder.

"You did it Emma, you broke the curse. Thank you." He said taking my hands in his.

"The war's not over yet."

"No, it's just beginning." He replied.

"I don't know if I can do this. Be the savior." I said worriedly.

"You broke the curse. Now everyone will be on your side and help you. Including me."

"Emma, Emma do you copy." Henry said over the walky.

"Yeah I'm here Henry, what's up."

"Charming called a meeting in town square. Come quick."

"On our way now." I said and August and I made our way back into town.

The square with the residences of Storybrook and I tried to find Henry in the crowd.

He waved at me from the pavilion where he, Snow, and Charming all stood. I walked up and joined them just as Charming started to talk.

"Thank you all for coming so quickly and willingly. As you know magic has returned to Storybrook." Applause from everyone. "We have Emma to thank for that. But before we get to excited you need to understand that this magic isn't the old magic we all know. This is dark, evil, unforging magic the queen and Rumplestilskin have set upon us. It makes them far stronger than ever before."

"How do you know?" Someone called.

"Because I'm the one who got rid of it in the first place."

"How did Rumple get a hold of it?" Another person asked.

"He tricked me into thinking it was the only way to save Henry then stole it from me." I replied looking at Henry. It was my fault this dark magic was over us and a war in the distance.
