A Strange Tale Indeed

A Strange Tale Indeed!

"Keldy! Keldy, are you here? Come on Keldy! I can't find you!" yelled Ritzia as she wandered around Wonderwood. I guess you could say that their game of hide and seek wasn't going so well. She walked around a tree, and there sat Lekius, captain of the guard for the village. "Oh, hello Lekius!" He jumped as she spoke because she had startled him.

"Oh, hello Ritzia. Hey, have you seen Keldric?" he asked.

"No. We were playing hide and seek, but I haven't been able to find him," said Ritzia.

"Hm, that's strange. He used to pick the worst hiding spots. I always found him in a heartbeat," said Lekius.

"You played hide and seek with him?"

"Well yeah. When we were kids."

"Oh. Well, do you think you could help me find him?" she asked kindly.

"Yeah. Anything for you, Ritzia."

"Thanks, Lekius," she replied. The two started to walk around. "Keldy!" The two were unable to find anything. However, while Lekius was walking around a small bush, he didn't bother to look where he was walking, and ended up hitting something.

"OW!" something yelled from below Lekius. He looked down, and burst out laughing. There, stuck in a groundhog hole, was Keldric. His left cheek was a bright red from Lekius kicking him. "It's not funny! Help me out of here please! Come on, Lek, don't do this to me! If Ritzia sees me like this…" Suddenly, Ritzia came running up.

"What happened? Did you find…him? Keldy? Is that you?" she asked, trying to hold her laughter inside.

"Hi, Ritzia…" Ritzia found she could no longer hold it in, and burst out laughing. "Aw, come on! Help me out! PLEASE!" But, the two just couldn't stop laughing. "Guys, I will bite you if you don't help me up."

"What?" asked Lekius.

"You heard me, you dope!" he yelled.

"Okay, okay! Come, Ritzia. Help me get him up," said Lekius. Ritzia nodded, and they both grabbed him, and started to pull. When they got him up, they all fell over.

Before they knew it, they were all laughing hysterically.

"Hey, Keldy, how did you get yourself stuck?" asked Ritzia.

"Goblin," he replied.

"Ah. Those things are such a pain. Do you know how many times one of them came in the village, and I had to catch it? Every single time, they would throw sticks at me!" said Lekius.

"Is that how you got that splinter two weeks ago?" asked Keldy.

"…Yes," replied Lekius quietly. Keldy started to laugh.

"THAT was NOT funny! It hurt. That little piece of crap just hurled that stick at me like a professional baseball player!" he said.

"Sure," said Keldy. Lekius picked up a stick and hit a him with it. "Ouch!" Lekius laughed!

"Come one, you guys! Let's go back to the village. Lekius and Keldy nodded and stood up. They walked all the way back to the village.

"Blahblahbalh!! Clablubla!" yelled a little creature running rampage around the village. It was…a goblin.

"UHHHHH! I gotta go," said Lekius. The goblin turned around, and had a stick at hand. It hurled it across and over to poor old Lekius. "OW! WHY YOU! GET BACK HERE!" he yelled. He ran after it, and when Keldy and Ritzia couldn't see him anymore. They burst out laughing. Poor Lekius.

A/N I hope you enjoyed it. It's not the best, but it's my first time after a while to type something like this, so I'm a bit rusty. See you later.
