Somebody's Watching…

By: Ersiffa Narman

A young boy is in the room

Trying to save the world form imminent doom

Put on this quest for a while

Fighting monsters and entering graves

Trying to save people from being in graves

So he is in the temple

Somebody's watching

He hears something as he is walking

He stops to listen

It was a bad move

It was a very bad move

Something is creeping in the dark

The thing watched him form afar

Waiting to strike while it's not too far

Its ghoulish hands stretch out

Waiting to devour its prey

Waiting to taste its prey

The boy doesn't notice

He finally sees the monster

His sweat runs like water

He found the thing who was watching

He is about to face pure evil

About to face the heart of evil

Maybe, just maybe, he'll survive

The thing licks its lips hungrily

The boy was shaking at the knees

The monster then attacked

It got a grip of its head

And tore off his head

Then it ate his heart

The thing finished off its meal

Leaving the hands on a wheel

The thing is known as the "Dead Hand".

The Dead Hand waits for its prey

To feast upon its prey

To kill another hapless victim

If the Dead Hand can kill the hero

Then there is fear out of your inner glow

Be afraid

Be afraid of everything

Be VERY afraid of everything

This is the legacy of the Dead Hand…
