Heh heh, this is just a little one-shot about Yoh's Birthday. I know his birthday was on the 12th too, just consider this a late birthday fanfiction.

Disclaimer: I don't own Shaman King, never will.

Not Forgotten

"Happy Birthday Yoh!" They all screamed as Yoh walked in. It had been years since the group split up, but now, on Yoh's birthday, Manta had organized a surprise party. Everyone was happy, and cheerful, even Ren offered up a rare smile.

Looking around, Yoh watched for a familiar stare. Anna was still gone though, as she had been for the last 3 years. She had gone back with Kino to train more as a Itako and promised to come back soon. Hiding his disappointment, Yoh smiled cheerfully, plopping down on a chair.

As time went on, it was like the old days. Horo and Ren argued over a pointless argument, Ryu started blushing at Lyserg who was reading a book, and all the ghosts sat happily in a corner, exchanging stories. Slipping out of the room for a while, Yoh looked at the stars. He still remembered the first time he and Anna had gone to look at the stars.

They had been nine years old.

"Come on Anna!" a cheerful Yoh exclaimed, dragging a glaring blond with him. "Where are you taking me?" she inquired the lazy shaman. Taking a couple turns in the dark forest, the wind beat down on them. Suddenly stopping at a clearing Yoh smiled at Anna.

"Why are we here? I have many better things to do you know." Anna scolded Yoh. Sitting down on the log, Yoh indicated the stars twinkling above them. "This is my favorite star gazing spot. The stars look like pinpoints in the sky here." Yoh murmured. Anna's gaze softened. Sure he was a completely lazy slack off sometimes, but Yoh sure was surprising. Looking up at the sky too, they sat there, until Keiko came and made them go home where Yoh and Anna both caught colds later.

Chuckling at the thought, Yoh noticed someone come up behind him. "Hey Yoh, having a nice time so far?" asked his rather short, friend. "Yeah Manta it's wonderful. Thanks for arranging this whole party for me. It's nice to see everyone again." He replied.

Taking one look at his peaceful friend, Manta could tell what was wrong. "Well, here's a package that came in the mail for you." Manta said, handing Yoh a small box wrapped with brown paper.

Taking it from Manta, Yoh thanked him and Manta returned back inside. Taking a look at the package Yoh grinned from ear to ear. On the brown paper, was neat calligraphy, with a very familiar style.

Happy Birthday Yoh. You better be keeping up with you training, after all, I can't be having a lazy fiancée.
