~*Dedicated to the Spoon I Know, Love and Hate*~
See Harry.
See Harry's spoon.
See Harry and his spoon.
The clock ticks my life away. Tick tock. Every day. Why don't I care? Why don't I do anything? I don't know. You don't know. Nobody knows.
So we all sit down and have a cup of tea.
This is civilisation. God alone knows why.
Hermione loves tea. She drinks a cup every hour before exams. She says it makes her alert. Ron says it makes her need the loo.
I don't know whom I agree with.
Tick tock.
She makes me drink it too. But I don't. I just sit, and stare, and stir. So she hits me round the head.
The tea spills. It's scalding hot and dribbles down my leg. Hermione screams in surprise.
'Oh! I'm sorry, Harry!' she gasps, trying to mop me up, and I push her away.
The tea is boiling, and it's burning me, but it feels nicer than anything I could imagine.
She looks at me strangely, and Ron does too.
We all sit and watch the tea drip onto the floor.
Ouch. It hurts. But I don't care.
Tick tock. Tick tock.
The clock is deafening. I can't hear. I can't breath. I'm drowning in tea.
I get up. I'm in a dream. Hermione says something, but I can't hear her. The door swings open, and next thing I know I'm half way down the stairs. The tea is burning and dripping, and I'm running with spoon in hand.
It's my spoon, and I'm holding it so tight it hurts, an indent left in my hand.
And I'm burning all over now, and instead of running down I'm running up, 4 stairs at a time. The tower is steep and high, yet somehow, magically, I make it all the way up. I'm gasping for breath, and my lungs hurt.
But I'm on the top of the tower, and the sun is setting, the sky as red as blood.
Tick tock, goes the clock, and I can't help but wonder what the point is.
And I'm right on the edge, and my hand is loose. I stand and stare, with tea dripping onto the tiles. The spoon sits in my hand, smooth and shiny and slightly damp with tea.
I smile, though I don't know why, and let it drop.
The spoon falls, and hits the ground.
A/N: Nope. No idea what I'm getting at here. Anyone who knows, or thinks they know, please get back to me. All reviews welcome, even flames, cause it's amusing to know what people think about this.
