Come on everyone be serious I don't own Harry Potter.
This story is written after Cedric had died but the year didn't end for another month.
No this story has nothing to do with Snape saving Harry from his depression because there is too many of those.
I'm open to any thing in harry potter so review your requests.
Harry was in potions class. He just couldn't stop thinking about Cedric and how he had let him down. He felt to guilty and unworthy. Completely unaware of his surroundings he simply stood and stared at his feet trapped in his thoughts. Ron, Harry's best friend, wouldn't dare try to cheer him up during potions as he would be surly be given detention by professor Snape.
Snape noticed Harry's mindless stare but let him keep to himself. He understood the feeling and hoped Harry wouldn't fall too deep in depression. The professor continued as if didn't notice.
When the class ended Ron and Harry walked to the great hall to eat lunch. Ron talked to Harry but the only response he got were a couple head nods.
It was hard for Harry to eat but he got a couple of bites down. Eventually the end of the day came so Harry decided to stay in the Gryffindor Common room. Gazing into the fire Harry again found himself lost in his thoughts. But this time in what seemed like forever he wasn't sulking over Cedric. Instead he was thinking of how his life would be if his parents hadn't died. He probably wouldn't even be in this situation as someone else would have been the chosen one. At first it seemed like a perfect life to Harry but then he realized that he probably wouldn't have met Ron and Hermione, who were giving him worried glances, and that wasn't a very happy life in his eyes.
During the night Harry thought of how he appeared at the time.'I look run down and weak. How could I let myself be like this!' He felt almost angry with himself. He wouldn't allow himself to appear like this again. He fell asleep determined to wake up himself again.
Harry was awakened by Ron shaking him back into reality." Harry you better wake up if you want to make breakfast." Harry nodded and sat up. When he and Ron got to the great hall to eat breakfast they found Hermione waiting for them.
"What took you too so long?" Her wavy hair falling onto her shoulders. She seemed worried and slightly angry.
Ron was about to answer but instead Harry jumped to the answer.
"Sorry I kind of over slept."
Both Ron and Hermione look surprised as Harry hadn't spoken very much for the past week. Harry sat down to Hermione. Ron was still standing in shock, he got used to Harry being in his own world.
"Well aren't you going to sit down Ron." Harry said with a bit of a giggle.
