So it's 1:42 AM and my mind is full of slush. I really LOVE this pair, but unfortunately I'm the only one who made a fic about them. Guess nobody noticed them except for me. DX I wish Basho and Sen had more screen time though. So short, but I'm happy with the outcome :D Slight OOC. Midterms are finally over! *happy dance*

"You're unusually tense today, Basho."
The seemingly innocent question caused the suave macho of a man to spew all the expensive jasmine tea into the lush green grass of the garden, and unfortunately somewhere along the face of a not-so-happy blond young man who received most of the blessing. The said lad stood up from his seat and grudgingly excused himself to look for a towel, muttering about saliva and something between those lines. The man made a quick apology to the boy (though it was obviously ignored) and wiped his mouth with feigned nonchalance.
"Don't know what you're talkin' about."
Tiny giggles escaped from the dulcet little lady's lips. Being the witness of her companion's discomfort was not her usual form of entertainment, but perhaps she can make an exception, ne?
Especially when it was a man who maintained such a tough image of himself.
Her mouth curved into a sly smile. "Is there something you'd like to tell me?"
His eyebrow twitched. "No. Sorry to disappoint you."
He must have forgotten that she can read hearts.
"I see… So," She sat her cup down on the little glass table and fixed her soft gaze on him "It would be such a waste not to let me take a peek on the poem that you've been hiding since this morning, right?"
His ears turned red. "I am not hiding anything! You're just imagining things. "
"Hmmm." She hummed melodiously while listening intently to his heartbeat with ambivalent amusement. The man couldn't quite decipher the expression written on her face, and this just made him even more nervous. Finally, after a few awkward moments of silence, he relented.
"Just.. don't laugh, okay? I'm not the best singer in the world."
"Okay." She smiled warmly. "And thanks for the effort."
