I arrive at the train station and head to the platform nine and three quarters. This would be my last year at Hogwarts. I had spent my summer alone. I had lost a lot of weight over the summer and I looked very different then I had when summer started. I go into an empty compartment and settle in knowing my friends would soon follow behind me. I hear voices soon approaching the compartment I had choose. They all come in as I look up from the book I was reading.
"Jazmine!"
"hey guys"
"you don't look so good jazz are you okay?"
"yes, it was just a rough summer is all guys"
"what happened jazz?"
"my mother passed away and I spent the summer dealing with my stepfather and we all know how he can be."
"why didn't you come to the burrow jazz?"
"I didn't want to be a bother Ron plus he wouldn't let me go anywhere"
"you wouldn't have been a bother jazz my family missed you this summer my mother kept asking where you were."
"you know if professor Snape see you he is going to be upset"
"I don't plan on going near him this year"
"we all know that you two love each other how do you think he is going to deal with being away from you like that?"
"I don't know honestly harry I really don't"
We arrive at the school and I go straight to my room since I made perfect this year I had a private room and setting room with a fire place. I knew that Severus would come looking for me when I didn't show up for dinner, so I changed and climbed into bed and closed my eyes falling asleep.
"Jazz baby are you in here ?"
I don't hear him come in as I lay on my left side my back to the door fast asleep. The nightgown I had on had settled over me and it showed how thin I had become over the summer as if I hadn't even eaten at all. He sits on the side of the bed as he strokes my hair I open my eyes slowly looking up into the eyes of my soulmate.
"hi baby"
"jazz what happened to you?"
"a rough summer is all my love "
"baby why are you so thin?"
"my mother died, and I spent my summer locked in my room"
"you have got way to thin baby and you need to start eating"
"I will baby just not tonight"
"you better start in the morning then my love I am worried about you and no more skipping meals"
"I promise baby"
He crawls into bed behind me and pulls me into his arms wrapping his arms around me holding me tight to his chest as I lay my head against his chest closing my eyes. I lay in his arms hoping he wouldn't notice the bruises that my stepfather had left on me. I didn't realize he had already noticed them but had not said anything. The next morning, I get up and get dressed for my classed for the day. I go down to the great hall joining my friends for breakfast.
"hey jazz how are you feeling today?"
"I feel better"
"we seen professor Snape coming out of your room this morning"
"yes, he held me all night and I actually slept good for once in the last 3 months to be honest"
"good you need it"
"yes, I did"
"you want to explain where the bruises came from baby"
"I will explain later I promise "
"ok baby"
Then suddenly I hear his voice screaming my name. I jump up and run for my room, but he catches me and slams me into the wall as I bang my head into the wall my chest starts to tighten and hurt bad as I clutch it before I slide to the floor as he screams at me.
"you were told you couldn't come back here this year and I meant it now you have to be punished for disobeying me."
I scream as Severus comes running as everyone in the great hall comes out into the hallway my friends running towards us. I fall over in a slump passing out as I hear Severus screaming at my stepfather to back off me. I wake up three days later. I look around as I see Severus sitting next to my bed asleep in a chair. I try to get up not even noticing all the wires hooked to me that were also hooked to a heart monitor. I fall over to the floor as Severus wakes up. He rushes to my side helping me back up into bed as I look at him not sure what was going on.
"easy my love you shouldn't even be getting up right now"
"how long have I been here?"
"you have been here for three days baby"
"have you been here the whole time?"
"yes, baby I have"
"but you have classes to teach"
"the headmaster has been covering for me love"
"what happened to my stepfather?"
"he was arrested my love"
I look down knowing I should have told him what had happened after my mother had passed away. He wraps his arms around me as the door opens and the doctor walks in.
"good your awake we were beginning to worry about you."
"hello doctor"
"how are you feeling jazz?"
"my chest is tight and sore, and I have a headache but I'm ok"
"well this isn't something I want to tell you without your parents present to be honest and yes I know that Severus is your love, but this is something your parents should hear also."
"my mother is dead she passed this last summer and my stepfather is now in jail after what he did to me."
"sweetie I don't now how to tell you this but neither of them were your parents."
"then who is my parents?"
"we did a DNA test while you were passed out and it turns out you are molly and Arthurs Weasleys daughter."
"how is that possible when that would make me rons twin sister and why haven't I been with them this whole time?"
"they were told that Ronald's twin had died by the nurse that was caring for them and she then took you home as her own and raised you all these years. "
"my hair isn't red like theirs."
"actually, it is now that the dye used on your hair all these years has worn off. "
I touch my hair and look at it and sure enough it was fire red just like the Weasleys hair. I look at Severus and he looks back at me.
"Have you told them yet?"
"yes, and they are here waiting in the waiting room till I told you and made sure how you took this news because with the condition that you have we didn't now how it would affect you."
"I'm in shock and on the other hand worried they wont even want me now because I'm already seventeen."
"baby stop that I've spoke to them they want you they have grieved you for seventeen years and now they find out you never even died this has made them happy."
"can I let them back here with you, so you can reunite as a family jazz?"
"yes"
Severus moves and sits on the bed with me as the doctor goes out to get my parents. He wraps his arms around me as I lay my head against him shaking in his arms. He holds me tight and kisses my forehead softly.
"baby it will be ok I promise you"
The doctor come in with my parents following him. I look up as I see my mother and father who look like they have been crying for some time now. They come over to the side of my bed and touch my arm as now I can see why I had gotten so close to them and wanted them to be my parents. I move from severuses arms and go into my mothers and fathers' arms as we all start crying.
"ok now that everyone is here I need to tell everyone what is going on with jazz"
"what is going on with our daughter doctor?"
"I'm going to warn you that it isn't good at all and it is going to be rough"
"just tell us please"
"your daughter had a stress heart attack that is the minor part of all this along with the fact that she has a heart arrythmia which is going to cause her to be on medicines the rest of her life and possible surgery to try and fix the problem."
"how serious is this doctor?"
"this is very serious this mean that she can not be under any stress what so ever, she has to adjust her diet and eat better then she usually would she also needs to be in an environment that isn't going to cause her to stress or have anxiety because the anxiety could cause her to stress. "
"Does this mean she can't go back to school to finish out her last year? "
"she can go back to school, but she need to take things slow and easy this way she will not go into another heart attack like she did this time."
"I can make sure that she is stress free at school and make sure that she eats the right way also and takes her medicine like she should I promise you that molly and Arthur. "
"thank you, Severus we really appreciate, that because we will worry as you well know that we do."
"I will write up her prescriptions and have them at the front desk when you leave you can pick them up."
"thank you doctor when can she go?"
"I am discharging her now all I need is you to sign these papers and then we can get her out of here "
"ok we will come out and do the paper work."
My parents go with the doctor and Severus sits beside me and holds me close knowing something was off with me because I hadn't spoken since finding out. He kisses my forehead softly before speaking.
"my love what are you thinking its ok you know you can talk to me."
"I'm scared baby I don't now what to think or even say right now."
"you will be fine I promise you that I nor your parents are going to let anything happen to you."
"I know this baby it's just I know how Draco and others can be when it comes to me they won't let me alone and you know this as well."
"they will, or they will pay the price because now your health comes first, and no one is going to let them jeopardize that."
"ok my love I am so sorry for all this."
"this isn't your fault so don't you dare apologize this is something no one could have known about till it happened or even if no one ever took you into a doctor."
My parents come back in with a shopping bag and the nurse come in behind them.
"I have your first dose of medicine Jazz so this way you won't need them till tomorrow morning when you wake up sweetie. "
"thank you"
"your welcome sweetie remember keep positive things will be ok I promise."
I take the medicine and she leaves letting us have time and me to get ready to leave after she takes all the wires off and my iv out.
"baby girl me and your mother bought you this new outfit down at the gift shop we hope that you like it sweetie."
I take the outfit out of the bag. It is a dark blue pair of jeans and a purple top that is netted on top and a t-shirt under it.
"I love it "
"let me help you get dressed baby girl?"
"yes mommy"
We get up and go into the bathroom and she helps me get dressed as I know she is concerned on how thin I was. the jeans are a little big but with the belt they stay on. We go back out to where my father and love are.
"you look lovely baby girl"

"you do look beautiful baby"
"thank you, my love,"
"she is too thin Severus I don't like how thin she is one bit."
"I know molly and I promise you by Christmas she won't be because I am going to make sure she eats and does as she is supposed to do."

"no need to thank me molly she is my soulmate it is my job to make sure she is healthy and eating."
"I am glad she also has you Severus."
"have you told the others that their sister has been found?"
"we are going to tell them all when we get back home and then we are going to go to Hogwarts to speak to Ron and Ginny together."
"why don't you come to Hogwarts with us first then tell the others when you get home it might be easier to explain"
"that is very true we will do it that way then."
we all leave after getting my medicines from the front desk. We all get on the knight bus and travel to Hogwarts. We arrive at Hogwarts and go inside up to headmaster Dumbledore office. He smiles as we all make our way inside.
"hello molly and Arthur"
"hello Albus, it is good to see you"
"it is good to see you as well, hello Severus and jazz. "
"hello Albus."
"hello headmaster"
"what do I owe this lovely visit?"
"we need to speak to Ginny and Ronald about something and also you of course but would rather do this all at once."
"would we like to include Mr. Potter and miss. Granger as well?"
"Severus do you think we should they are her friends as well."
"I believe it would be a good idea with what is going on with her molly"
"then yes we would like to include them as well Albus I am sorry if this will pull them from class, but it is important."
"of course, and it is ok I am sure none of them will mind being pulled from class at this time of day."
"that is true"
We wait about five minutes for them to make their way up to headmaster's office as they all walk in chatting up a storm, but it stops when they see all of us in one room together. I believe Ron stopped in his tracks staring at me and the fact my hair was the same color as his. Ginny is the first one to speak.
"mom, dad what are you doing here what is going on?"
"well Ginny we have something to tell you and the others."
"what is it mom?"
"Jazz is your sister and Ronald's twin sister that we thought had passed away seventeen years ago."
"your telling me that Jazz is my twin sister?"
"yes she is but there is something else also."
"what is that?"
"she has a heart condition in which she has to take medicine for the rest of her life and can not be under any stress at all or in any situation that is going to cause anxiety because it could send her into a heart attack just like it did when the man she thought was her father did what he did."
"will she be ok she looks awfully pail and sick."
"she will for awhile until she gains some weight back and is on the proper diet she is supposed to be on."
"we will keep an eye on her and make sure no one messes with her and that she eats mom."

Dad then speaks up talking to Ron.
"Son are you ok with all this she is your twin and we are bringing her home where she belongs."
"I am glad she is home dad I knew a part of me was missing and when she's around it's like it's not anymore I just didn't now why it felt like that till now and I am glad I got my twin back in my life."
"good I'm glad Ron cause she's going to need all the support she can get right now."
"Severus, I have a suggestion."
"what is that Albus?"
"I think you need to move her into your living quarters I believe it would be a lot safer for her and this way if there is a day she isn't feeling good she can just rest there and not worry about being bothered."
"I think that is a good idea as well Severus."
"baby would you be ok with this?"
"yes, baby id feel safer to be honest."
"good then ill have your things moved to severuses living quarters."
We all go down to the great hall as it is lunch time and we all sit together at the Gryffindor table. As everyone else files in they stop and stare mostly at me. I lay my head against Severus still not feeling the best. He puts his one arm around me and holds me close to him.
"you ok baby?"
"I feel so tired and weak is all baby, but I'll be ok."
"after lunch ill take you down to our living corridors and you can take a nap baby you need it after everything that has happened in the last few days it's a lot to take in that is for sure."
"that it is Severus and he is right baby girl you need to rest you look so pale and tired we want you to feel better."
"I will rest I promise."
"good baby girl we all know you need it and want you to be ok."
"she will be molly I am not going to let nothing happen to her and I'm sure harry and the rest wont either."
"no, we will not let anything happen to her"
"are you all coming home for Christmas this year we want to a big family dinner and presents this year and we do have something more to celebrate this year bringing Jazz home."
"we will all be home for Christmas molly but where are we having it this year?"
"we think it would be best to have it at Sirius place because his place is much bigger then the burrow."
"ok then that settles that we will all come to Sirius for Christmas."
"yes"
I pick at my plate not eating much at all knowing everyone was watching me. I push my plate away I hadn't even eaten half of what was on it. I close my eyes laying against Severus. He holds me close to him as I do.
"baby you need to eat more than that"
"I don't feel good is all baby ill try to eat more later I promise"
"you better baby girl you need to regain your strength"
"I know daddy I will I just don't feel the greatest right now is all."
After lunch Severus leads me down to his living quarters and shows me around then to the bedroom. I crawl into the bed and lay down curling into a ball on top of the blankets. He pulls a cover over me and kisses my forehead softly and goes back out to the setting room to talk to my parents before they leave.
"Severus, she has us very concerned right now."
"give her time it has been a lot to take in today molly she has had to take in the fact she has a heart condition and then she learned about the fact she's been lied about her parents all her life."
"he is right love she has had a lot to take in the last few hours we just need to give her time is all she will be ok and adjust."
"I didn't mean to overwhelm her if I did"
"you didn't molly but give her some time she has always been a strong person there for everyone else no matter what we just need to give her time to adjust to all of us being there for her instead of her having to be the one there for all of us all the time."
"she is used to being the one not showing any weakness weather she is sick or not"

"do you plan on marrying our daughter or is this just a love while she is here at school because we don't want to see her get hurt when she is so in love with you and we can all see that she is."
"molly this isn't just a school fling for me or her we both love each other very much and as a matter a fact I do plan on marrying her, but I can't say more than that it is going to be a surprise for not only her but everyone around us."
"that is all we wanted to know Severus we love our daughter and we know you do as well, and we don't want her to get hurt so I am sorry if it came out the way it did I didn't mean for it to sound like that I really didn't."
"I understand that completely molly trust me I don't want her hurt either and I do everything in my power to make sure she doesn't get hurt."
"we may just now have got our baby girl back into our lives but this time we aren't letting go because she is our daughter"
"well I am not going to give her up either I have fallen completely in love with her over the last seven years."
I curl into a ball as I listen to them talking and close my eyes falling asleep. I wake up a couple of hours later and get up making my way out into the setting room looking around for Severus not sure where he had gone. i make my way upstairs to the great hall and peek in seeing everyone was sitting down to dinner. I don't hear Draco come up behind me till he touches my shoulder startling me.
"did I scare you Jazz?"
"yes, you did what do you want Draco?"
"oh, what do I usually want from you Jazz?"
"you usually do nothing but poke and prod at me is what you usually want"
"yes, I do and now isn't any different now is it"
"yes, it is Draco because you're not going to sit there and pick at her she don't need it with her heart condition she don't need to be stressed out right now. "
"did anyone ask you potter I believe I was speaking to jazz not you"
"I don't care she don't need it and if Ron catches you messing with his twin sister he won't be happy"
My brother walks up with Hermione and Ginny as Draco decides to just grab me and not let go of me as I try to keep as calm as I can even though my heart is starting to race. I try to pull away, but he has a good grip on me.
"Draco let me go please"
"not till they back off and keep walking"
"Draco let my sister go I don't think you really want to go there with us."
"I'm not letting go of her"
"Draco let go of her now and I mean it you were just told by harry of her condition and the look on her face isn't a good one she is getting pale and her heart is racing."
Draco looks at me and laughs. Then Severus shows up out of nowhere along with headmaster. I look over at severus trying to keep my cool as it is becoming very hot and hard to breath with my heart racing as hard as it is.
"baby you ok ?"
"not really baby its getting hard to breath and my chest is starting to hurt really bad"
"draco let her go before you send her into another heart attack please this is all she needs right now."
He looks from me to them and then shoves me away from him as he does I collapse to the floor in a heap. My brother and sister rush to my side and help me up as I am shaking horribly. Severus comes to my side and picks me up slowly.
"take her down to bed Severus and I don't want her out of your living quarters till I say so am I clear"
"yes, Albus you are clear"
"how are we supposed to be able to see her?"
"you all can come down and visit with her if you wish I have no problems with that but I ask you wait till she is feeling somewhat better."
"Severus, I think you need to get her doctor here to see her right away just to make sure she is going to be ok"
"yes Albus."
Severus carries me down stairs and puts me into bed before he goes and sends out an owl to my doctor who shows up within the hour.
"ok what happened?"
"we had an issue with another student being a jerk to her and she tried to keep herself calm but her heart started to race, and it became hard for her to breath with as much pain as this put her in."
"I believe I take back what I said about her coming back to school is there anywhere she can go that will be better for her?"
"her parents would probly want her to come home to them."
"no, I am not leaving you Severus."
"baby you need to be somewhere that this isn't going to happen to you."
"he is right Jazz you need to be somewhere that isn't going to cause you to get like this again."
The next thing I know here comes my parents rushing in looking worried. I put my head into my hands and let the tears go slowly. Severus sits and puts his arms around me holding me close to him.
"what happened "
"Draco decided to be a jerk to her and it got out of control."
"as I have told both jazz and Severus I believe it is going to be safer if she was at home and not here with how bad her condition is because we need to do more tests it seems worse then we thought it was."
"I don't want to leave school."
"I'm sorry jazz this isn't a option as your doctor I am telling you this is something you have to do."
"you mean I have to leave school even though I don't want too?"
"yes I am sorry but it is for the sake of your health and you know this as well as I do."
"baby I will come visit you and Christmas is in a few weeks as well."
"I know but I hate being away from you and plus I have to finish my last year of school how can I do that from home?"
"we will have all your homework sent to the burrow for you Jazz and you can send it back it would guareentee you will graduate with everyone else"
"yes headmaster"
"when you go home you are to take things easy and not over strain yourself in anything you do jazz and I mean it."
"she wont doctor I can promise you that."
I look over at my parents then to Severus as I try not to cry because this isn't what I want one bit I want to be here with Severus and my friends. I put my head in my hands and hide my face. Severus holds me close.
"I promise you baby I will be home for Christmas and we will have time together just us but please do this for us, so we know you're going to be safe."
"alright ill do it but it isn't willing that I am doing this, so you know."
"we know its not but it is for the best sweetie and you know we all care about you we just want you safe"
"I know this mom I just don't like this"
I pack all of my things and say goodbye to my friends then turn to Severus who pulls me into his arms holding me tight as he kisses me deeply. I kiss him back deeply not wanting to let go of him. We load onto the knight bus and it takes us to the burrow. my mother takes my things upstairs and I follow her.
"this is Charlies old room, but I believe he wouldn't mind you having it as you are his baby sister."
"ok mama"
"the bed is big enough for when Severus comes for Christmas baby girl and yes we approve of you being with him."
"I love him very much mommy I really do"
"we know you do baby girl as we know he loves you as well"
"it kills me to even be apart from him its like half of me is missing to be honest."
"baby girl that is what love is when you have your soulmate it feels like half of you is missing"
I crawl into bed and lay down as my mother covers me up. She kisses my cheek and backs out of the room as I fall asleep. I wake up a couple hours later hearing voices downstairs some that I didn't even recognize yet.
"how is she doing mom I heard you had to bring her home."
"she's doing ok other then hating the fact she's away from Severus like this."
"professor Snape?"
"yes Charlie"
"why would she hate being away from him"
"well they are a couple and have been for 7 years now and they both love each other very much."
"my baby sister is with Snape"
"yes, she is and you are to be nice about it and I mean it they both love each other very much"
"ok I will be nice but he hurts her I wont be very nice."
"he isn't going to hurt me "
They both turn around and look at me as I walk into the kitchen.
"baby girl this is your brother Charlie."
"hello baby sister it is nice to meet you finally"
"hello big brother it is finally nice to meet you as well"
"baby girl are you hungry and it is time for you pill"
"I will take my pill, but I am not hungry mommy"
"you know what the doctor told you that you need to eat no matter what"
"sister of mine you need to eat, and I will not take no for an answer do you understand me"
I roll my eyes and sit down at the table knowing I wasn't getting out of this. Mom started lunch and Charlie sat with me at the table as we got to know each other. The next thing I know the front door opened and in came my father, Fred, George then bill right behind them as mom sat lunch on the table.
"well looks like I made just enough for everyone to have something to eat."
"we love your cooking mom and plus we all wanted to come meet the sister we haven't met yet."
"don't overwhelm her any of you please."
"we won't I promise."
We all sit down to eat, and I take my medicine, so everyone sees that I took it. I finish about half my plate before pushing it away having everyone staring at me.
"are you full baby girl?"
"yes, I am thank you it was good"
"your welcome sweetie"
"may I go lay down I'm not feeling so good and I'm hurting from earlier."
"yes, baby girl go ahead ill come check on you soon."
"ok mom"
I go upstairs and crawl back into bed and lay there awake as tears start to fall as I miss Severus very much wishing he was here with me to hold me like he usually does. I fall asleep after a while as I can feel someone watching me from the door way. I feel someone tuck me in tightly and kiss my cheek not sure if it was mom or dad. I sleep the rest of the night with dreams of Severus. I wake up early the next morning before everyone else and go downstairs making breakfast for everyone before they get up. I set the table and made sure everyone has a glass. I then take my medicine so this way no one must remind me to do so. i sit and eat my breakfast as everyone else comes downstairs to the kitchen.
"you didn't have make breakfast for us baby girl"
"it is ok mom I wanted too, and I already took my medicine and I am eating now."
"good I'm glad and I see your doing your homework also, so you can send it back by late afternoon."
"actually, I have it all sent back this is tomorrows homework"
"you are ahead of yourself baby girl maybe you should slow down"
"mom I'm ok I'm just making sure I keep up with homework and that way I am distracted so I don't think of missing Severus so much."
"ok baby girl as long as you don't overdue things."
"I won't mom I promise"
I go back to my homework and end up sitting there for the next 4 hours doing homework. I finish it and start to doze off. I lay my head on the table and fall asleep not even realizing one of my brothers pick me up and carry me upstairs to bed and tucks me in. I curl into a ball and end up sleeping the rest of the day. The next few weeks pass, and Christmas vacation arrives. Christmas break is 2 weeks long this year. I lay sleeping up in one of Sirius spare bedrooms because today is one of my bad days where I don't feel so good and I don't even look so good. I don't even here Severus come into the bedroom. i jump as he lays down beside me putting his arms around me.
"shhh baby its just me its ok"
"sorry baby I'm having a bad day"
"I know you are baby your mom told me"
"I took my medicine and I did eat like I should but today is a bad day for me and I don't know why"
"baby you're going to have bad and good days."
"I hate this though one day I was healthy and now I'm not and you should just move on find someone who's healthy and can withstand certain things that will come"
"baby stop it I love you and I am not going no where you are my soulmate I don't want no one else"
I look down not wanting him to see the tears in my eyes, but he lifts my head and makes me look at him. He kisses me deeply as I kiss back leaning into him. He runs his hands through my hair. I moan softly into the kiss. Suddenly there is a knock on our door.
"Severus are you in there with jazz?"
"yes, I am is everything ok Sirius?"
"dinner is done, and molly is wondering if jazz wants to try to eat?"
"yes, we will be right down to eat give us a moment"
"alright"
I get up and rummage for my jeans and sweater. I start to dress and stop breathing a little harder than normal. Severus comes up behind me and helps me finish dressing looking at me with concern. I smile and push through the fact it was one of my worst days. We go downstairs and go into the kitchen. Everyone looks up as we walk in hand in hand.
"why is everyone staring?"
"baby girl I don't know if you realize this or not, but you have become even thinner then you were a month ago."
I look down at myself and realize she was right I was thinner then I was. Severus looked at me with concern.
"baby be honest have you even been eating like you should be?"
"not as I should be no I've been skipping meal."
"baby you know better this is why you are having one of your bad days you need to eat like you are supposed to."
"I know and I'm sorry "
I take off and run back to my room in tears locking myself in. I hear Severus knocking on the door. I hear Sirius unlocking the door for him and letting him in. I lay in bed facing the wall. He sits on the edge of the bed and rubs my back.
"baby I'm not mad at you or yelling at you but you need to eat I know it's hard, but you need too."
"I know but it just felt like I was being yelled at"
"no never and I bought you a plate along with mine, so we can eat together spend just us time tonight."
"what about everyone else."
"I told them what I plan to do, and they think it is for the best love"
We sit and eat together I finish the whole plate. He sets our plates on the dresser and crawls into bed with me as I lay on his chest closing my eyes. He holds me close to him as I fall asleep in his arms. With him holding me I fall asleep like nothing and stay asleep till the next morning. I wake up earlier than anyone I go take a shower and dress in my jeans and sweater mom had knitted for me then go downstairs. I make my way into the kitchen and start breakfast for everyone. I hear everyone stirring as I set the table and put out everything I had made.
"jazz you didn't have to do this"
"yes, I did I have to contribute somehow"
"you being here is enough for us sweetie"
"Sirius don't argue with her she is hard headed like the rest of us Weasley"

"thanks a lot brother of mine I didn't need your help"

I giggle, and finish putting the food on the table and take my seat saving the one next to me for severus. He comes in a few minutes later looking around. He sits next to me and puts his arm around me.
"who made all this"
"why don't you look at jazz cause none of us was up early enough to make this much"
"baby you did all this"
"yes, I did baby"
"you feel ok?"
"yes, baby I'm fine,"
We all fill our plates and start to eat as the chit chatter around the table starts. I smile and eat what Severus put on my plate for me. I finish my plate as everyone else does and I go to get up and clear the table to do the dishes, but Sirius stops me.
"I think since you cooked jazz the guys need to pitch in and do the dishes and clean-up"
"it's ok I can do it"
"no baby he's right let's go guys"
The guys shoo us out of the kitchen and dining room, so they can clean up and put things away. I sit down with everyone else in the living room as my mother starts to set up the Christmas tree. This causes me to drift off into my past Christmases. I remember how we never had a Christmas tree let alone gifts for that matter. I remember this last Christmas when I had gone home and all I ended up with was a black eye and bruised back because I didn't do what he had wanted me too I had refused to let him touch me anymore. The woman I had called mother for so many years had stuck up for him of course like she always had. I don't realize my name was being called and I sit there tears rolling down my face not even realizing it. I feel a hand on my shoulder that causes me to jump so high I fall off the couch.
"I'm sorry I scared you baby girl you spaced out on us and wasn't answering anyone."
"it's ok mom I didn't even realize I had spaced out I was um remembering something is all"
"something sad or that has hurt you I am thinking cause you started to cry out of nowhere baby girl"
"its just a memory that I haven't told anyone to be honest"
"is it the one that happened last Christmas baby?"
"yes, baby that would be the one"
"what happened last Christmas baby girl"
"she came back to school with a black eye and a bruised back"
"who in the hell laided their hands-on you baby girl?"
"it was the man who she thought was her step-father"

"can we just drop this please I don't want to dwell on the past when I am with my true family where I should be to begin with"
"I agree no more talking about the past she is home where she belongs so let's just drop it "
"alright we wont talk about it no more I promise."
We all gather around the Christmas tree and start to decorate it together like a family should. It takes us a couple hours to finish it. After we get done decorating the tree all the presents get put under it. I notice Severus looking at me then to my parents and others. They all nod and smile towards him and I start to flip out a little because I didn't now what was going on. Severus smiles at me and I smile back.
"jazz my love"
"yes Severus?"
He kneels in front of me where I am sitting on the couch and pulls out a tiny red velvet covered box. I look up at him in shock as he does as it hits me what is going on. He opens the box before speaking.
"Jazz we have known one another for seven years now and I have loved you from day one. The moment I seen you it was like I had never seen anyone so beautiful in my life. You were like an angel with the glow you had around you. Then when I got to know you I feel even deeper into love with you and yes even your attitude when someone messed with you. I can't imagine my life without you one bit you are my one my only my soulmate, so I am asking you right now in front of everyone we love and care about. Will you do me the honor and make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?"
"yes, Severus I will be your life."
Everyone cheers and hugs as Severus slips the ring onto my finger then pulls me into a deeper kiss then he had ever kissed me before. i lean into the kiss and smile into it feeling happier then i have ever felt knowing i have the love of my life and my true family.
