Title: Kiss Before Death

Summary: Did anyone else that saw HP5 think that this was an undeniably slash moment? I did. shrug Just drabble. Fight, kiss, death. Pretty much how it goes down.

Prompt: Quote from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (movie): "No, Harry, you're doing beautifully…" --Sirius (or something like that)

Harry looked deep into Sirius' eyes and knew, just knew, that he had to remain with his godfather just a few minutes longer. As the battle between the Dark and the Light raged around them, Harry took his godfather's hand.

"Sirius, don't leave me," he whispered. Sirius smiled. Reaching over, he put a hand to the base of Harry's neck, drawing him closer.

"I'll never leave you, Harry," he whispered, and their lips connected. The kiss lasted only a moment, and at the sound of Bellatrix's squeal, Harry and Sirius drew apart. Sirius stood, ready to fight his cousin, but faster than Harry could say "protego maximus," Bellatrix screamed the Killing Curse at Sirius. Harry turned, watching his godfather's instantaneous death, and screamed as Sirius fell through the magical veil.

Remus held him back, Harry screaming and tears streaming down his face. Bellatrix, the coward, turned and ran. Finally, Lupin let Harry go, and Harry ran after her…
