Prologue

A little boy was running through the forest he looked around ten years old he had black hair and black eyes, he was running from the Minotaur and some Cyclopes'. The boy was running he was about to faint because he had been running for 3 days straight. Just as he was about to faint a silver arrow came out of the forest and hit the Minotaur and hit it in the leg. More and more arrows came out of the forest and destroyed the Cyclopes'. When the last monster was destroyed some girls in silver parkas come out of the forest they surrounded him. One of them a twelve year old girl with auburn hair and another girl that look 14 the 14 year old had a silver circuit on her hair she had black hair.

The twelve year old girl walked up to him "who are you and why are you in the woods Boy" she spat out boy like the worst cuss word in the world.

"My name is Percy not boy" he spat back.

"Who are you?" Percy asked.

"I am Artemis goddess of the hunt, children, virginity and the moon" the girl now known as Artimis said.

Then the 14 year old girl stepped forward and asked "why are you in the woods boy"

"My name is Percy not boy Girl its Percy" Percy spat "and to answer your question I ran away from home".

When Percy spat out girl the hunters all raised their bows and pointed it at him. Percy saw this and got angry before he was holding in his anger but then the lost it many hellhounds came out and surrounded the hunters and the sky got darker Artemis looked up and saw that the sky had darkened and not let the light from the moon into the clearing (An not sure if this is a power of Nyx but it is in my story). Artemis looked at the 14 year old and said "Zoe prepare the camp we are staying here tonight and tomorrow we will go to camp".

"Pleas milady don't tell me that we are going with Apollo" Zoe said.

"I am sorry Zoe I need to go and hunt alone" Artemis said.

When the tents were ready the hunters went into their own tents and since Percy didn't have one he slept on a soon as he laid down he fell asleep

Percy P.O.V.

I was just getting adopted by some guy named Gabe Ugliano I had been in this orphanage for my whole life I was now ten. When we got to the house he told me to go to bed. The next morning I went down stairs and saw nobody thinking that Gabe was still sleeping I walked quietly not knowing that he was behind me. As I got to the kitchen and sat down at the table he grabbed a whip and whipped me this went on for five months the last straw was the he a woman into the house raped her in front of me and then killed the next day I ran away.

Artemis P.O.V.

I was just about to fall asleep when I remembered that the kid didn't have a tent. But I thought too bad he is a boy he disserved what he got but. I went to see what he was doing I didn't trust him. He was sleeping on the ground and I saw the shadows wrap around him like a blanket and under his head he had a shadow pillow. Then I went to bed and fell asleep into a dreamless sleep. I woke up before anybody else and I was sitting on a tree when I saw the kid wake up in cold sweat.
