Broken

Don't try to fix me I'm not broken.

Lies

Sora's Pov:

I felt the tears run down my face. I wanted it to be a dream. I fell to my knees on the cold hospital floor, crying. Riku stood, his face a mask of pain and sadness. Kairi lay in the bed next to us, scars on her face and arms. I shook my head. "ALl my fault," whispered. "all my fault."

Riku put his hand on my shoulder, "Sora, it's not your fault."

"Tell me i'm asleep, Riku," i muttered. "Tell me this isn't real."

"She's not dead, Sora. She's just hurt. She'll be okay," Riku tried to comfort me the best he could.

The doctor entered the room as he said that. The doctor, Dr. Walters, frowned, "Has no one told you?- she's not breathing." I felt myself hypervenilate. I clutched my chest, feeling as if my heart was shattering, shards of glass stabbing me.

"Sora? Sora?" Riku frantically called my name as everything went black. i could hear everything clearly, but all i saw was darkness. What was happening?

I heard Kairi's soft voice in my head, "Sora, i'm fine. I'm fine. I'm just thinking about you. You take my breath away..."

I shook my head. Then stop thinking about me. I need you, Kai. Kairi, what's hapening? Why can't i see anything?

Kairi's voice echoed in my mind once again, "Sora, i don't know for sure... Just open your heart. Open your eyes. I promise, Sora, it'll be okay. Open your eyes, Sora, See the light..."

I did as her voice told me. "Kairi?" I opened my eyes. She sat in the bed, chest moving in even breaths. I sighed and walked over to her. I touched her soft arm and her indigo eyes fluttered open slowly.

Dr. Walters was shocked to her her whisper, "S-Sora?" I smiled at her and brushed her hair away from her eyes. She smiled in return as the doctor and Riku stared on in shock.

"But...she's supposed to be dead," Dr. Walters frowned.

"Well, she's not," Riku smirked as I stared at her. I leaned down and gently kissed her forehead, hearing her giggle softly.

"I was lost in the darkness," I whispered to her. "I couldn't find my way. But then I heard a voice, your voice. You saved me, Kai..."

"Of course. our hearts are connected."

"When he said you weren't breathing, I felt my heart break," I beamed. "But, my heart feels whole again. Like someone fixed it with glue or something... It feels whole."

She leaned up, her lips at my ear, "Of course. We complete each other."
