Cries 'till she's sick and sneezing

Holding the bed covers for dear life
Refusing to leave her room
He's gone, gone for good, but she can't accept that
Doesn't want confirmation
{There's pain still trapped inside}
Scaredanxiousworried
{ignoring reality 'till it slaps her in the face}
Teeth chatter out of control
{You'd think she was in Antarctica from the way she was shaking}
Wanting it to be a dream
Thinking the world was against her
Suppressing the thoughts to the back of her mind
[Denial can only last for so long,
but she's not upset anymore]
The world was her oyster
Till the walls came crashing down
The black hole in her stomach grows,
Engulfing her whole
She continues her life,
But she's not living in it
{Her body is like an empty shell}
He'll never come back,
She'll never see his face
She'll never hold his hand,
He'll never comfort her anymore
