A Day in the Library
A 16 year old girl with fiery red hair and vibrant green eyes was sitting in the library doing her homework since it was raining outside and there was nothing else to do. It was all calm and peaceful until a certain 16 year old boy came and stood across from her at her table.
"Hey, Evans."
Lily immediately knew who that voice belonged to. She looked up and met those sweet hazel eyes of the one and only James Potter: marauder, prankster and heartthrob of Hogwarts, who was grinning like a lunatic.
"What do you want, Potter?
"Well, I was just wonderin' if you would like to--" but Lily cut him off, knowing exactly what he wanted.
"No, Potter."
"No?" he asked innocently.
"No. No to going out with you. No to going to Hogsmeade with you. No to going to any balls coming up with you. Just No." She told him not looking up from her work.
James felt hurt and he always wondered why Lily would never go out with him. He is the hottest guy in the school. All the girls are in love with him and would kill for a chance with him, but not Evans.
He found a loophole in her rejection, however and once again started grinning like a madman.
"Oh Lilykins! So then that's a yes to--" once again Lily cut him off.
"Potter, call me that again and I will hex you so bad you won't be able to perform sexually," she said while glaring at him. She wished he would wipe that damn grin off his face.
"Ah, so Lily flower, you think about my performance?" He asked while waggling his eyebrows.
Lily's eyes snapped right up to his and she gave him her famous death glare. She wished she could wipe off that insufferable smirk.
"Potter, I'm so close to hexing your ass off, so if I were you, I'd shut up and GO AWAY!" She yelled.
Madam Pince looked over at them and hushed them off and then stormed off to find other students to yell at.
"Oh and by the way," Lily continued, "No to kissing or snogging you. I do not know why I would want to put myself through that."
James frowned at this and felt really sad. He was in love with this fiery red head and she just wouldn't give him the time of day! So he turned around and left her. He ended up in the row of books behind her table.
Lily sighed and she felt a bit bad about what she said to Potter. She looked for him after he left. James saw this and that famous Potter grin returned to his face. He marched right back up to her table.
"Oh Lily dearest. When are you going to stop resisting my irresistible charms? I know you love me and that you dream and think about me all the time. It's ok that you do, really I do not mind at all," he told her while grinning.
"Well I'll see you tonight, Lily pad!" and then he winked at her and walked off before she could say anything.
Lily was fuming. She was down right pissed. To think she actually felt bad about what she said. She packed up her books as fast as she could and ran out of the library.
"POTTER GET YOUR ARSE BACK HERE!" she screamed while Madam Pince was yelling after her.
James stood at the end of the hall and smiled.
