A hooded figure who wears a parka so grim and eerie that you can just assume that he's death itself, it's black and drags along the floor but it's oddly animated as the tips that should stay motionless on the floor usually limiting themselves to merely drag along when he walks instead moves by themselves like if they are alive, rising and curling making otherworldly spirals and then just disappearing in thin air, nevertheless new tips sprouts and quickly restart this apparently never ending cycle once more, but regardless of this what really stands out and makes this... Person? Whatever he or she is truly disturbing is the fact that from under that grim reaper's attire sticks an oversized dog head, not a real one however... It's not hard to say that it's a costume, a cheap one to be honest, something akin to a cartoonish, high school mascot that you see at the football games, it's old and dirty, painted in a yellowish brown... Or maybe green? It's actually hard to say, it has a big nuzzle that sticks out of the hood, a solid black nose, big spherical and crazy looking, blue eyes that seems like they're about to pop up from their sockets at any second yet they're most likely just attached to their place by glue... The interior of it's mouth is pure darkness no facial features can be seen with the exception of a pair of unnerving eyes with pitch black pupils, these emits a dim glow that just pile onto the lost of disturbing features that this entity features, said entity them raise it's grayish, glove covered hands to wave at the screen in a rather ominous way then he -allegedly, as nothing more than his eyes can't be seen- open his mouth to speak to the audience.
"Hello my dear audience, it's a pleasure to meet you even if I'm just talking to a lifeless camera it's a pleasure to meet you all... I'm Duke the Dog, the hip hop specter of Doom." Declared the mysterious character now identified as Duke the Dog or just Duke, it's voice is quite contradictory to his -as he, by now is obviously male- appearance, instead of being bubbly, childish or crazy as a sane people should expect by judging from his appearance, it's an enticing, menacing and hoarse, devilish voice to say the least, it's unmistakably the voice of an adult, not a kid or a young man neither the one of an old man, no, it's in fact filled with vigor and power, it wouldn't be a surprise if he starts to bark orders at a subordinate at any second... No pun intended.
"After giving it a few thoughts I've finally decided to revive an old reality show known as Total Drama... The premise of teens competing against each other while being stalked by cameras that ravaged their privacity is just plain great! This specter of the Doom can't understand why they didn't make more seasons... But the point is that now I'll be hosting my own brand new season of this magnificent franchise but with a twist... Unlike the previous seasons this one's contestants will be Occult beings like myself! That's right... Demons, vampires, magicians, mythological or just magical creatures are all allowed to join as well as humans well versed in the occult arts!" Declared Duke with grandeur before striking a pose with his arms crossed and sticking his index and pinkie finger out of his otherwise closed fists in both hands, if we could see his face he surely would be smirking or something...
Then yet another disturbing being enters into the scene, this time however it's not wearing a parka or a dog costume... Instead, whatever it is sports a contrasting, cheerful, cat costume. It's "fur" or the suit's color is mainly white with a pair of high, yellow pants with suspenders, a red short sleeved shirt under it and sky blue shoes, these clothes however apparently comes with the costume or are at least wore above it as the arms and hands of this aberration are clad in white, plush-like cat hands, those lack fingers but each one has their own set of pink paws on it's underside. The head however is what catches the attention the most, it's mostly round shaped and like Duke's one it's oversized in comparison with the body that's already short or at least smaller when compared to it's fellow specter, from atop it sprouts two triangular pieces with smaller, pink triangles inside it as the ears, between them and in the top of the head there's a big yet simple red ribbon and as you can expect the head also has a cat face, but unlike Duke who has attached eyes and a not so realistic nuzzle this one is just drawn upon the surface of the mask... Head... Or whatever it's called, two enormous and yellow cat's eyes take most of the face space with a little nose and three simple lines at each side's "cheeks" that are supposed to be the cat whiskers, finally much like it's canine analog it's mouth is a pitch black rectangle that doesn't show us anything but it's eyes, a pair of solid cyan colored eyes, there's no pupil, iris or schlera to be discerned just a pair of cyan colored, circular dots that from time to time blinks, thus they're eyes or so it seems...
"Sassy is here too to help Mastah!" Yelped the cat with a high pitched and unmistakably feminine voice as she waves happily at the camera.
"Nice timing! She's my loyal helper Sassy the kitty! The feline aberration of Paradoxicalliness! She'll be my Co-host and do pretty much all that the chef did in previous seasons along with most of the job of the interns as well, fear not, she's very capable despite the first impression she may give..." Explained the taller specter, his eyes narrowing slightly like as he's smiling widely under that costume.
"Yay! That's me! Sassy the kitty! I'll help Mastah to carry on this crazy plot! All the occultist humans and occult creatures are welcomed! I'll gift you all a piece of the pie I baked this morning if you send us an audition tape just now!" Squeals the cat disguised girl with glee while eyesmiling to the camera.
"So... 21 contestants will compete against each other while divided in two teams..."
"We'll put ten in each team and cut the remaining one in two! One team will get the head and arms and the other the legs and the butt!" Interrupted Sassy to apparently explain how they're going to divide the teams in the most equitable way...
"Every unspecified amount of days the teams will face a supernatural challenge!" Yells Duke as green colored flames rises behind him giving him a more evil and dramatic image.
"The challenges are supernatural because we both posses Eldritch powers that defy the very foundation of the material plane... And use them to make the most delicious sandwiches!" Added Sassy as she obscures Duke and holds a plate full of greasy and unhealthy looking sandwiches.
"The losers will have to vote for who they like the less or perhaps hate the most in the most dramatic elimination of doom ever seem!" Keep explaining Duke and as the already cemented pattern Sassy then butts in to add yet another comment.
"Is 'of doom' because the contestant with the most votes will be eliminated from the game and join the pile of losers without a chance of ever winning!" Adds Sassy gleefully as usual.
"At the end the last creature standing will become the winner and be rewarded with the MYSTERIOUS PRIZE! A prize so tremendous and magnificent that just a few selected people know what it is and those who know it don't dare to say what it is!"
"What is it, Mastah?" Asked a curious Sassy as she scratches her head with her fingerless hand.
"I don't dare to say it!" Scold Duke in a rather mischievous and teasing way before collecting himself again and continue his speech.
"The stage and the rules are already set, we now just need some players... You, namely, after all this reality won't be about me, nor about Sassy but about the contestants who will, by all means be the protagonist of this epiphany! Now get ready, send us an audition tape, pack your dirtiest underwear and we'll personally bring you to Limbo Island!" Yelled Duke with his arms wide open, the camera then makes a panoramic shoot revealing that Duke and Sassy are actually on a island, a fairly normal island, not different from any used by Chris McLean before.
Then an apparently giant Duke appears in the sky behind the island.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Laughed Duke evilly like a psycho striking the same pose as before.
"What's so funny Mastah? Mastah? Mastah..? Hihihi... KYEHEHIHEHIHEHIHEHIHEHI!" Started to Laugh Sassy as well despite still not knowing what is so funny...
A/N: Alright guys here's Aleister Bloodrive VII with a brand new SYOC project, unlike previous projects this one isn't too serious, it's pretty open to almost anything and nothing need to make too much sense, in fact we're here for the laughs and the nonsense xD
Anyways, here's a list of things that you need to know:
•The theme is the Occult so we'll talk a lot about supernatural things, specially dark magic, cults, witchcraft, pact with demons and others dark stuffs but in a lighthearted and funny way.
•Duke and Sassy will be the hosts, both of them are supernatural entities of dubious origin and nature, you don't need to know what they truly are, just that they're in charge and Duke is the equivalent of Chris here.
•The setting is an alternate version of the earth in which "Ignorance is bliss", most people live happily ignoring that the Occult things exist and are easily fooled by cheap disguises or explanations like a meteorological balloon, swamp's gas or collective insanity, so if you character is a monster or has super powers they MUST make use of one of those is not both, keeping their true nature as a secret from normal people, it's just common sense, isn't it?
•Characters are expected to be either humans with super powers of some sort gained through occult means like magic, mutations, experiments, having a supernatural parent or whatever else that you may came up with OR monsters, mythological creatures, original creatures designed by yourself or anything else that isn't human with the exception of robots (cyborgs are fine thought), but no matter what your character is, they must have lived a fairly normal teenager's life so far, torture a group of teenagers is a vital part of the total drama formula.
•As stated above characters are allowed to have powers, those can be whatever and as many as you want but be mindful of not making them godlike, and even if you do that I'll just make Duke "degrade" them until they're fair enough, so... Pick any power that you like and makes sense with your character concept.
•The show will take place mostly in Limbo Island where the contestants will also stay at camp Limbo, at first glance it's a normal island but it has a few supernatural stuffs of it's own...
•There will be some gore but no one will die... At least not permanently, after each challenge Sassy will revive any fallen contestant and/or cure those who get hurt, that however doesn't mean that dying isn't painful, it's PAINFUL and no too pleasant.
That's mostly all that you need to know and if I leave you with some doubts just PM me, okay?

•Submit your character via PM, I don't care what title you put to it but don't leave a character's app on the reviews, if you do that your character won't be accepted.
•Fill all of the app's fields properly and be as detailed as possible following the guidelines inside the parentheses, be specially detailed in personality, however don't trail off or add contradictory stuffs.
After finishing erase the parentheses and the guidelines.
•This isn't first come, first serves, every submitted character will be subject to my scrutiny and I reserve the right to accept or reject them for any reason, so don't rush it, take your time and write the best character that you can!
•Don't abandon your character, if it's accepted I expect to see a review of yours once in a while.
