Alternative to Feeling Like Yourself

Sam tipped back the bottle and downed the last drop, stumbling back a few steps. He started toward the bar, thinking about another drink and not the chair in his way. He's not sure how, but his head hit the edge of table just before his back hit the floor.

The next thing Sam remembered was the soft, wet cloth on his forehead and Dean's worried, green eyes staring into his. He blinked and the two Dean's became one.

"Why, Sam?"

Sam shut his eyes, hid the tears.

"Can't save you."

Dean sighed and tended his brother, while he still could.
